I've been supportive of Floyd throughout this whole ordeal with Pac. I don't know what's going through his head. ****, he may be scared...who knows. But I will say this, what I've seen from Floyd throughout the years tell me that he would do very well against Pac. Pac is a courageous ass little mofo that isn't afraid to take chances...and that's where Floyd's style comes in very handy. One of the best, if not the best, defensive counter punchers in our era with excellent speed and footmovement.

Now how many fighters has anything even close to Floyd's style that you can say Pac fought. I'd hate to say it but Cotto was the only guy in recent times that has decent boxing skills. But saying that Cotto is NO Floyd Mayweather.

How do you beat Pac? With equal speed, endurance and slickness...all the tools that Floyd has.

Not a sermon, just a thought.

how sad to see a boxing legend let himself and the sport down so badly with this racist nonsense just to keep his name relevant and sell a few extra tickets. the man needs to shut up and shuffle off down to the hall of fame before he says something else ridiculous.
there isnt one black american fighter out there in his weight class that could beat pacquiao. i really dont think williams counts ....the guy is 6ft 3 and i suspect that coming down from 160 to 143 would take some of his edge away but lets be honest...mosley is too old, mayweather is too afraid of risking his boxing 0 and would rather risk his rear 0 in a jailcell and berto doesnt have the class.
      idiot hopkins!

bob arum makes more money with pac fighting marg. hence , he can pay pac more as well , if he has to to get it done.

also why shane had to declare himself a free agent to get a pac fight , with gbp-tr situation difficult for him to get a pac fight otherwise.
if floyd will not sign, i think pac-mosley or bradley will be good. to silence this non-sense argument about race.

bradley-alexander winner will be good but i doubt they'll like the money from that fight.

mosley i'm torn. i want mosley to get paid so he can retire but what would happen to him in that fight? not good more than likely......

          if mayweather can't fight......

**** it make martinez-pwill winner vs. pac at 160.

go out in a blaze of glory.

even if sergio or paul kicks pac's ass so what? those guys are huge and the middleweight champion. no harm done to the legacy.

hell a loss would add to his legacy.

imagine a former flyweight champion's last fight was when he challenged for the middleweight title.

i think this whole race card issue is a ploy to get mosley in the ring.. mosley doesnt deserve a shot.regardless of skin color. pac vs floyd is the fight people want to see.. people wana see the best face the best. if a drug free pacman is the best than he should agree to the testing and fight floyd

Cmon Hop, there's only one out there in that weight and he's fighting girls and security guys. The other one (Mosley) got beat by a chicken and by a snake.

Clottey can't even sell as much as Bradley or Alexander.
I think the winner of Bradley/Alexander would be a good
match for Pac considering that it would be for some
supremecy at 140 where Manny once held down the
#1 spot. The way Bob Arum is selling fights with Pac
nowadays. I'm sure he could sell a fight with the young
guns in the 140 division. Also, using the "money" excuse
for Pac is the same thing Floyd was doing and people
called it "Ducking" but when it comes to Pac, it is supposed
to be a smart business move money wise?

Clottey? And he wants Mayweather but Floyd doesn't want to lose his 0 and is scared. As another poster said, Bhop eat ****. I hope he loses against Jean Pascal. Who Carl Froch beat!

that may be but clottey was top rank. arum can pay pac more because he has the other guy's end too.

                    i don't give a **** excuses. i'm talking about reality.

reality is money is what these guys base their decisions on. what i think or what you think don't matter to them. right or wrong.

and i don't care about what floyd is criticized for. i don't criticize floyd for making money.

Fair point. Floyd may have style which maybe difficult for Pac. But also Pac has a stlye difficult for floyd. Floyd hasn't faced anyone of Pac's calibre. This is what makes the fight so interesting. In my opinion, unless Floyd decides to let his hands go more than he does, he will loose rounds to Pac. Pac throws punches with speed, hurts you with his power, and is as accurate as they come. And one major aspect of his style which could cause floyd huge problems is his workrate and stamina. He'll have to deal with a tornado of punches from every angle, and they won't stop coming until the final bell.
