Sure Hopkins wants to fight Pac. Hopkins made his legacy vs. smaller guys. Hopkins is willing to fight at home, US-referees, a 80 - 20 % split and at 175.............Top black US-fighter....................

to be honest a weight drained b hop getting his ass kicked buy pac would be a nice spectacle considering hop is a ****** cheater in the ring.

But has anyone noticed how Arum won in all of this! Manny fought Arums stable of fighters making him rich as ****, but all the other contenders or people that would give Manny an even fight are passed by. Hmmmm... good or the sport?

First of all Joshua Clottey is not an African American fighter. He's straight African drop the American. And, to add, his style is nothing like an African Americans. Clottey comes forward and stalks. The style Hopkins is referring to, that will probably defeat Pacquiao, is that of Ward or Mayweather. Hit but don't stand there and get hit aka the Mexican Machismo style.

In my opinion, Mayweather would confuse the hell out of Pacquiao. Mayweathers footwork is masterful and precise. He picks people apart systematically. Its something Pacquiao has NEVER fought against. Those who believe Pacquiao wins this fight easily are sadly mistaken. Despite my belief that Mayweathers wins the fight I believe it will be his toughest challenge EVER. Manny is the energizer bunny and will force engagement.........engagement that Mayweather has the ability to counter(one of the best counter punchers EVER) and move away from.

Pacquiao is being compared to legends of the sport like Ali, Duran and Sugar Ray Robinson.

Those are heavy compliments to give to any boxer. With that high praise comes higher expectations.

When Bernard speaks about slick black fighters; he's talking about fighters like Sweetpea Whitaker, Floyd Mayweather, Roy Jones, Bernard himself, Ali, Ray Leonard, Mike Mccallum, Toney, Too Sharp Mark Johnson, etc...

Those above listed names are the epitome of GREAT SLICK AFRICAN AMERICAN BOXERS.

If Pac is supposed to be top 10 all time (or whatever the general public is saying) then he should have at least a victory over a slick, agile, cagy and intelligent fighter (most of those tend to be african americans).

The only option Pac has is Floyd Mayweather.

People are starting to get fed up of Pac fighting slow, plodding, defenseless punching bags (clottey, cotto, marg, hatton).

Lets see how great Pac looks against guys like Floyd, Martinez, Guzman, etc...

It just feels like Pac is trying to fight the least threatening fighters while claiming to have this outstanding career.
Top black fighters were good when they only fought each others.................

Look what happend, when they began to fight fighters from other nations....

                  Shark Teeth

Was this a quote from B-Hop , Jesse Jackson or Steven A Smith. Get over it. Get some fans and they will get some fights. The slick style he refers to is BORING thats why I'd rather take a nap then watch Floyd pot-shot and hold all night. B-Hop throws like 7 punches a round . He was great at one time but never exciting.

What? Clottey is a defensive counter-puncher. No one who's ever seen him fight would peg him as a come-forward stalker

If anything, people get on his case for not throwing enough punches and being too defensive minded, cost him the fight against Cotto.

And you're right, every African-American fighter is slick and defensive (like Mosley) while every regular African is a come forward plodder (see Ledwaba). So if Pacquiao takes on the slick African-American Mosley, then people can stop playing the race card, right?
