I want to see this fight but I hope JMM won't make impossible demands like he did the last time. JMM is the best technical fighter of this era, bar none but he's also a mismanaged fighter that needs to accept boxing business reality. He should not expect pacquiao to bend to his demands because he's the one begging here and beggars can't be choosers.

First off when Floyd fought Marquez Floyd rehydrated 15+ lbs on fight night and Marquez said the weight was too much. When Margarito rehydrated 17+ lbs on fight night Manny almost killed him. No one is buying this fight cuz Marquez literally lost both fights on the scorecards. He got a gift decision draw on the first cuz one judge was a dumbass and scored the first round wrong. He hit the canvas 4 times in 2 fights and didnt make Pac hit the canvas at all.

He gets dropped to easy and is old and washed up and has piss breath. He isnt even on Khan level at this point.

The difference is Manny is exciting and never backs down! There is no way in hell Floyd Jr. would have fought Margarito the same way Manny did. He would have ran and pot shot his way to a boring decision. It's not always who is more skilled, sometimes it's about the heart and will and we all know Manny has that. I have yet to see Floyd Jr. have to dig into the trenches and Manny would force him to do so. I see a Manny vs. Floyd Jr. fight playing out like the Pacquiao vs. ODLH fight with Mayweather quitting after 8 or 9 rounds....

Actually, I have to respectfully disagree with you here. First of all I would have agreed with you before Floyd fought Shane. However, he stood and went toe to toe with Shane and got the better of him. And before I hear the nonsense I am no Floyd fan neither. Also, please don't tell me that the only reason Floyd did that was because Shane was old and past his prime because we can make that argument about quite a few Pac's opponents.

Why are people saying Marquez is out of his prime? He wasn't in his prime 2 years ago for god sakes. He fought Pacquiao at 30 and 34 years old. IMO he hasn't looked better. He got beat by Mayweather at 147. Mayweather made him go 17 pounds, so yeah that was bad but look at his last 3 fights. He beat a prime Juan Diaz by knock out and in the 2nd fight the guy literally school him.

Make the fight where Pacquiao has to cut weight. 140 Perhaps or a CW at 137 since Pacquiao loves Catchweights so much. Lets see how well he does. I want to see this fight, I love Marquez he's one of the smartest boxers I've ever seen. Styles make fights, but if Pacquiao is seriously making him come up to 147 that's just a ****ing injustice. Sure when Mayweather did it, it was horrible, but Marquez never had the right style for Mayweather. It wasn't going to be a competitive fight, it was gonna be an easy pay check for Marquez and stunt to make Mayweather look good, but against Pacquiao at 140 or a CW of 137 it's actually a competitive fight. Pacquiao hasn't changed from 2008. Maybe the only thing changed was his competition.

Freddie needs to stop being a joke looking for advantages. He's making his fighter look like a joke. Fight actual competition for god sakes. Your fighter hasn't needed cut weight in 2 years. Make this fight happen. It's a legitimate fight, stop looking for advantages. Let The "People's champion" fight fair and square for god sakes. Then we'll find out how good he really is...or we'll find out if what I say is true. For the past 5 fights he's been fighting these guys just for money and to make him look good.

Marquez actually looked good in his last fight. I can't say the same for Mosley. If Marquez gets passed Katsidis and he looks good I see no problem why this fight shouldn't happen.

I have to agree with that. While Pacquaio has grown into a 140 lber (or even 147 lber), Marquez looked sluggish and slow against Mayweather at 144 lbs and Floyd Jr. let him off the hook. I know Manny now would go for the KO to once and for all dispell any beliefs that he lost either of their first two fights. Personally, I had both fights for Pacquiao (114-112 in first encounter, and 114-113 in second encounter) however they were both so close, it's all subjective at this point. Be that as it may, I would rather see Manny fight Bradley (after he beats Alexander) or Andre Berto. These would both be undefeated fast opponents and we could see how Manny dismantles either of these guys....

Yea I would rather see a Bradley fight,or a Pwill fight even...Marquez is a great fighter but he just does not have the body frame to move up to 140lb-147lb..I don't even see Marquez beating Khan let alone Pac at 140lb..Just not a good fight for JMM,I say he stays at 135lb and rules until someone can put and end to his career there..

Marquez has fought Pacquiao better then any1 except 4 Morales in their first fight. That's it though. He didn't beat him. I thought he lost both fights. Great fights but he lost both of them.

I don't see JMM faring well against Pac at this point, especially at a higher weight. I like Marquez and don't want to see him hurt. He will have all he can handle in the Katsidis fight, finishing that fight with full focus should be his first priority.

Funny thing is Mayweather would have never fought Marga's just off style alone..I always felt Marga's had the style to trouble May because he pressure's none stop..Floyd moves well but Marga's punches from everywhere(he even caught Manny with some good shots)May would have big trouble with Marga's despite what alot of posters believe which is why we never got that fight...IMHO Mayweather has never wanted to fight Marga's or Cotto for the same reason's they are hard punching never stopping pressure fighters..Cotto and Marga's have slowed but in their prime Floyd would have never fought umm..I also think the Marga's the fought Pac sat would have giving Mayweather right now a hard time..Styles make fights and Marga's(like JLC)style is all wrong for May...
