At 140 I believe it would be a good/close fight with Pacquiao winning on points. At 147 Pacquiao knocks Jaun Manuel out easy.

Now, when in my post did I say that Marquez could win at this time??? Read my post carefully first and then comment. All I am saying is that JMM does deserve some respect whether you agree or not and there is no denying that. I have no problems with the....at this point Pac will kill him comments...it's when people start putting him down and acting like he doesn't deserve a little respect. If anything Marquez deserves that fight more than Margarito did. Again, don't take my comments out of context please!

respect is given to those who actually give it themselves. the fact that jmm kept acting like an old ******-up ex-gf itching for another humping is why alot of people here love to diss him (not like we need any reason to begin with). when pac made that "socks excuse", it was so fcking absurd that we also felt like "disrespecting" him... what makes jmm any different?

this guy went to pac's own country and disrespected the man in front of his own people, and now you want pac's own fans to respect him??? fckin cry about it, brah! his fans wanted to build him like he was some sort of a martyr/battered wife whenever he loses.. well, we're just helping you do that... can't have a martyr without enough persecution you know...

I want to see this fight but I hope JMM won't make impossible demands like he did the last time. JMM is the best technical fighter of this era, bar none but he's also a mismanaged fighter that needs to accept boxing business reality. He should not expect pacquiao to bend to his demands because he's the one begging here and beggars can't be choosers.

jmm still has to go past floyd before he can fight pac. why not ask floyd a rematch? for sure floyd will come back from vacation just like last year when marquez ask the fight..

I have to agree with that. While Pacquaio has grown into a 140 lber (or even 147 lber), Marquez looked sluggish and slow against Mayweather at 144 lbs and Floyd Jr. let him off the hook. I know Manny now would go for the KO to once and for all dispell any beliefs that he lost either of their first two fights. Personally, I had both fights for Pacquiao (114-112 in first encounter, and 114-113 in second encounter) however they were both so close, it's all subjective at this point. Be that as it may, I would rather see Manny fight Bradley (after he beats Alexander) or Andre Berto. These would both be undefeated fast opponents and we could see how Manny dismantles either of these guys....

His last two fight were horrible,how he can think he can give problems to MANNY today.....not a smart person!!!

The difference is Manny is exciting and never backs down! There is no way in hell Floyd Jr. would have fought Margarito the same way Manny did. He would have ran and pot shot his way to a boring decision. It's not always who is more skilled, sometimes it's about the heart and will and we all know Manny has that. I have yet to see Floyd Jr. have to dig into the trenches and Manny would force him to do so. I see a Manny vs. Floyd Jr. fight playing out like the Pacquiao vs. ODLH fight with Mayweather quitting after 8 or 9 rounds....
