good post rome, i agree. these people think manny is the only one picking styles that suit him. floyd avoids anybody who throws more than 2 punch combos. a shane 2-punch combo put floyd in his place. if shane was able to continue & not hesitate throwing, we mightve had a different outcome for sure.... for years ive been wanting to see floyd handle a pressure fighter / body puncher / volume puncher.... floyd is a master at countering jabs but i honestly cant imagine him rolling punches ALL NIGHT. yes, we've seen him roll combos off of a faded oscar, but thats nothing compared to some solid body combos prime cotto & margs used to throw.

Marquez has fought Pacquiao better then any1 except 4 Morales in their first fight. That's it though. He didn't beat him. I thought he lost both fights. Great fights but he lost both of them.

jmm is definitely one of the top guys of this era... but he is sounding too desperate... if jmm wants pac, he needs to step up to 147 (145 catchweight even).... but he needs to wake up... in their second fight, i was rooting for marquez but i wasnt upset about the results... it was a toss-up, IMO.

        pacs choices:
        • martinez = no way, martinez is too much for pac
        • p-will = nope, think duran/hearns
        • bradley/alexander/maidana = they havent earned a shot
        • berto = pac will destroy this kid
        • cotto/mosley/jmm = please no

i honestly think if the mayweather fight doesnt happen, pac should retire...
whats the point to continue? i dont see any other opponent enhancing his legacy... martinez/p-will winner would be too much for him.... unless he decides to clean out 140... so at least he can beat some "undefeated" fighters. LOL.

other than that, he risks further wear & tear...

          respect

Please show a little respect for the world's greatest boxer.
Don't mention his name in the same breath with JMM and FMJ.
The fight with Margo is the first and last fight of the congressman.
He will have his hands full knocking out those tongressmen and representa-
thieves at the Batasan. He will be the next speaker of the House , Belmonte
          will be KO'd.
After that he will deal with all those clowns and two legged animals.

Pac should fight JMM. Good tuneup for Floyd and he deserves a physically easier fight after margs / cotto. At either 147 or 144 catchweight. Even though he could, Pac shouldn't have to go down to 140 because fights against pbf/pw/Martinez loom as possibilities. He probably shouldn't be going up and down at this stage of his career. JMM can come into the fight at his optimum weight, even if it's not at the agreed limit like Pac did against margs. All roads lead to MP right now so if JMM wants the fight it's on team pacquiao's terms.

I'd love to see Pac against any of the following (ranked in order of preference):

                  PBF
                  PW
                  JMM
                  Martinez
                  Bradley/Alexander
                  Khan

I don't understand why so many people are saying if the next fight or 2 isn't PBF then Manny should retire...he is still in his prime and hasn't shown signs of decline. selfishly I'm hoping he continues for another 2-3 years and we're treated to more spectacular outtings by an atg.

So JMM is too small for PBF@147 but not for Pac? That clearly puts you in perspective. The really sick thing about it is Manny can easily make 140. You meant all dumbasses follow MP. Now let me get this straight: Mosley slaughters Cheato's ass for 9 rounds, leaves the ring unmarked but it doesn't mean nothing. Manny goes to war for 12 rounds with Cheato then has to have his injuries nursed now he's the greatest fighter of all? All you MFers are idiots.
