but honestly, i don't see marquez winning either way these days. in the past few years he's relied exclusively on his jab and well-timed counters to win fights. he's largely immobile and hasn't learned new skills since their last fight. it's sad but true: pac's outgrown him as an all-around fighter.

Roach is just making sure his fighter wins. Manny has way more to lose in this fight and he has ALL the leverage, of course Roach will try to get all the advantages. Roach is confident but he's not an idiot.

Why does Roach always want a certain weight for the opponents of his man Pacquiao.

Roach said it himself that Manny has been fighting (Perfect)or great because part of it is he dont have to "KILL!" himself to make the weight,and he can eat breakfast/lunch & dinner.

What about the other guys.What about the guys that always have to kill themselves to make the weight in training for a fight with Manny?

You see,Manny Pacquiao can have a perfect training camp eating anything he wants,but the opponent always has to meet a weight restriction and has to apply that restriction to be a part of there training camp.

Last night was the perfect example.Did Roach and team realy have to apply a weight restriction of 150lbs for the Margo fight?I mean,Margo came in fight night at 165lbs anyway.They could atleast have let Margo weigh 154lbs so there can be no excuses what so ever.

So Pacquiao can weigh whatever he wants and his opponent has to worry about weight instead of just training and creating a game plan for his foe.

All im saying is that Manny and team should let these opponents have a training camp that focuses on training and stradegy,and not dropping weight beyond there norm.

marg has been fighting most of his life at WW or 147. The 150 is actually an advantage for marg.

Pac's camp made a mistake here and Pac almost paid the price for that error.

As a Pac fan a fight with JMM doesn't interest me at all. JMM isn't the fighter he use to be anymore.

The ONLY FIGHT I WANT TO SEE IS PBF AND PAC. If that can't happen the Pac should retire or face up comers like Bradly or Berto.

Didnt Pac weigh in at 144? Didnt all the Pac fans say he can easily make 140 or even 135? Didnt Roach say that as well? Didnt HBO commentators all say that?

If that was true they would fight JMM at 140 or 135.

So either Pac is a real WW or Roach and Pac are cherry picking.

The reason Roach wants it at 147 is becuase Marquez would put up a better fight if it was at 140. Then Floyd could come out and say see I dominated him easy and Pac struggled that means I'm better than Pac. So now he does'nt have to fight him. If the fight happens at 147 then it will be the same advantage that Floyd had. I say Marquez does'nt go 6 rounds at 147. He went the distance with Floyd at 147 and he already said Floyd was better than Pac. So fighting Pac at 147 should be a walk in the park for him. I can't wait for this Welterweight fight.

Who gives a **** if roach says 147. Manny's not even a natural welterweight! Pacquiao will come in at 147 ish just like he always have and Marquez (who will also hydrate in that range) will still face a fighter his size.

Marquez actually gets to forego any dehydrating phase to make weight. Even if Roach says 154, Marquez and Pacquiao will still come in at around the same size. For ****s sakes JMM is still the NATURALLY bigger man.

So does that mean Floyd's off the hook for fighting Ricky "Fatton"???

LOL Pac is on the driver sit now, they will dictate what is to be the best for them... and JMM is willing to be killed so why make Pac drain himself just to please the crying old man.. If they want really to fight Pac then fight him with all their conditions becasue JMM is the one want a third fight.
