Seriously, does anyone think he intended to fight like that? Why bother going to Big Bear and getting into top shape if you're not planning to fight? He froze. There was nothing more he could have done. He didn't make a conscious decision to not throw punches.Comment

It was two counterpnchers, it was never going to be fireworks.
Hayes plan was to stand outside the jab and catch harrison coming in, harrisons plan was to wait until the late rounds, the style clash was dreadful, but it was to be expected really.Comment

The criticism should be directed at Haye for fighting Harrison.
Harrison was never any good.
He doesnt deserve the hate, because after winning gold he was promoted as being the next british heavyweight champion, yet could never live up to the hype.Comment

I was there tonight, and it made me very sad the reception he got as he came to the ring. He deserved better than that.
I'm sure he'll console himself in the knowledge that it was predominantly by pissed-up wankers with little or no knowledge of the sport, but still, it shouldn't have happened. English sports fans can be the greatest fans in the world at times, but they can also be the biggest arseholes going.Comment

Respect for Audley to have been succesful in the Amatuers.
But he has been so bad since then.
bad guy or not,he talked big and did not back it up again and again he failed.
And he took everyones money while doing it.
I cant feel to sorry for someone who robbed people of money and failed to do anything.
He should have realised straight away that he wasnt cut out for the pro ranks and given it up as soon as he made a good wage where he wouldnt need to worry about finances ever again in his life, not drag out a sad career of failure after big talk and being a big conman.Comment

Let's not make the mistake of believing Harrison is just some guy brought off of the street to fight. He is a professional fighter and deserved to be respected as one. Not being in the same class as Haye isn't a crime. Hate shouldn't be levelled at him because of his in ring failures. Instead, people should celebrate what he has achieved in the boxing ring, rather than concentrate on his shortcomings. Harrison is an Olympic Gold Medalist and a European boxing champion. These aren't feats that are readily available to the average man. For once the British media, public, and fight fans should put an arm around Audley and comfort him during this dark period in his life. The way he was greeted by the Manchester crown on his ring walk was nothing short of disgraceful. This is a man who won gold and represented his nation at the highest level. He is a good man and didn't deserve to be humiliated in the manner he was.
Good luck A-Force!Comment

No fighter DESERVES TO BE BOOED or BASHED AFTER GETTING KO'd..
