When it comes to Pac opponents his critics just love to talk about pacs opponents being weight drained even if they arent.
Someone justify in this thread how margarito will be weight drained at 150

It depends on the angle. He could be trying to increase Pac's confidence. Perhaps even trying to undermine all the pre-fight confidence coming from the Margarito camp. There could be a lot of reasons why he said it. One thing is for certain though, he did not say it because he is "in the know". He said it because he was talking out of his a$$.Comment

Increasing Pac's confidence by telling the public Tony is weight drained certainly doesn't help, talking out of a** or not.It depends on the angle. He could be trying to increase Pac's confidence. True. We shall see although, quite frankly, I didn't need Ariza to tell me that. Tony has been at 147 since he was 18 and was struggling to make it the last couple years. He came back at 154 for a reason. Further, he tried his best to get an edge with the catchweight, asking for 151. There is no question those last 3-4 pounds will be a serious issue. Ariza wasn't observing (these things should be obvious to everyone but the sheeple)...he was taunting.Comment

I think it's to get in the head of the Margarito camp, to try and place some doubts in them.
That seems like as good a reason as any.
Because they probably believe it was a big factor in the Mosley loss.
The mental game of boxing can be intriguing.Comment

I am sure Tony will have to shed some water weight to make the 150 limit. The question is will it hurt him during fight time? I am not sure. He does not have to cut as much as he used to, so he may end up fine. From the last pics I saw of him he still seems to sweat well and doesn;t look all ****** in, which is a good sign.Comment

Yeah, we won't know until tomorrow.
I can't even count how many times guys looked ripped at the weigh in and got tired quickly, or looked flabby and fought 12 grueling rounds.
Sometimes looks can be deceiving.Comment
