While I hate that Pac is getting another asterisk belt, it's not the first time in history that a belt is being given at a catchweight. In fact, many championships through history have been won through catchweights.

Sugar Ray Leonard had a fight at a catchweight where he defended one belt at one weight division while winning at another division so it's not unheard of. If there's anybody to blame, blame the organizations for sanctioning the fight.

I absolutely agree with all you said. On paper you are 100% correct. When the fight starts we all know where you're gonna be though am I right? You ain't gonna care when the first bell dings.

Its fine to have a catchweight fight but when a boxer keeps doing it over and over it tends to become annoying when you hear, " 5 time, 6time, 7th time etc weight champion". Real fans know whats going on. Then you have the obsessed Pac fans comparing his accomplishments to that of a fighter who had less weight divisions doing the real deal.

A fighter or his opponent will never admit he is weight drained (whether it is true or not) before a fight.

According to Ariza, he's already drained.
