Should Sugar Shane Mosley Still Be Considered Great?

I agree...he could have been if he stayed at 147 though.

Mosley's best was 135, he should've stayed in the lightweight devision.

Hell yea! Shane I thought fought better in the second fight against Winky than he did in the first. Shane is still one of the best fighters in the world and I think he will still do great things in boxing.

Remember when it looked as though Sugar Shane was going to be in the hall of fame with the other two sugars? Is that status all gone or do you think he could rescue his career at 147? I personally believe Shane ruined his career. I like Shane but he put himself in some fights that were almost impossible for him to win. Whats your opinion?

I think Mosley is finished as a great. He is definitely in the "good" category now, but that's the good category of known boxers. I'm not saying Mosley is just good and that's it, but among the boxers that boxing fans know, he is good and nothing else. Sure he got beat by awesome opposition, but he's never going to be able to beat any of those guys anymore.
