I agree but someone else in this thread said that Shane is better.

Shane was one of the best lightweights of all time & if he would've stayed in the lightweight devision. He would've beaten everyone, the only guy that would've beaten Shane in the lightweights is PBF other then that I don't see any one beating Shane. Shane is the only guy that really beat De La Hoya in the first fight. Shane was never knocked out by anyone. Roy was knocked out twice by 2 older guys. I will take the lightweight version of Shane any day over any weight of Roy. People forget how great Shane was in the lightweight devision.

Co-sign. It seemed it all went downhill once he started lifting weights like a bodybuilder and when he went up weight classes as well. Made him slower, and it looks like he didnt carry power to the next weight class either.

Vernon would have beat Shane. He beat him three times already.

Roy was old when he was KOed by old guys. Good points but I still don't see how Shane is greater.

I still think he could be great if he could beat Zab (I think he could) or Floyd (probably not) and be the best at 147.

Maybe, but we will never know. Forrest never fought the lightweight version of Shane. I know Forrest said he beat Shane in the amateurs. I don't take amateur fights to seriously. Didn't Cotto lost to Abdulaev in the Olympics. We all saw how easily Cotto beat Abdulaev a few months ago.
