The first time they fought as pro, Mosley was good at that weight division until he met Forrest. If you remember he was going through people like Adrian Stone like a hot knife through butter. Remember he was being criticized for his weaker opposition and Forrest was considered a step up from his opponents since the first DLH victory.

i dont consider him great at this time. but have faith that after another confidents building stay busy fight he'll be ready to take on the smaller floyd and mayweather.

i feel he's gotten a bad rapp from making wrong carreer moves like fighting forrest twice without a tuneup and then going up in weight and fighting winky twice, although he came close second time around,i like bringing that up because i dont think zab or mayweather would have a chance against foxy lefty wright.

i've always been a mosley fan but i have to admit that if oscar would have gotten the win i wouldnt of complained.

yes he didnt look steller against estrada and believe what i've read that he took it easy against estrada and wanted to stretch it out for the workout.

i'd like to see shane show his boxing skills and power against the tall unknown cruz and get rid of him within four rounds.

dont see how pbf and zab could hurt shane.mosley has a world class jaw and has more expierience than anyone these littler guys have faced.shanes awesome left body punches would slow both speedsters down which i think would be the key to a win.and if they made the ego mistake of being drawn in to go toe to toe with mosley it would be to their detriment.i must say tho both could possible win on points if they fight a smart fight on the outside against mosley.IMO

Shane lost his speed with each different weight. I think the lightweight version of Shane was too fast for Forrest.

I've never seen anything like that old Mosley. He impressed me just as much as Mayweather impresses me now. I just hope Mayweather keeps his power and speed as he goes up in weight.

I think 147 is where Mayweather should stop. He will probably lose his speed & power if he goes to 154 or 160.

Yeah but he went down in weight and his last bout he didnt look anything like his old self. And yes he's in his early 30s, but still he should be much better.

I cant believe the Shane I use to watch with great excitement is taking some confidence builder fights.

If any boxer keeps going up & down will not be the same fighter. I prefer fighters to stay in one weight or if you gonna move up, just move up to one weight.

I agree...he could have been if he stayed at 147 though.

yup shane is a good fighter, hes not great like hopkins, morales, de la hoya(even tho mosley beat him), pbf and all those fighters. i think he would knock out zab judah. but margarito would tear him up and pbf would outbox him.
