He has also knocked out several other fighters with decent chins in one or two rounds.

Gamboa has gone 12 with Barrois, Salido, Jimenez. He also needed 10 rounds to finish Rojas and Gonzalez.

I don't give to much credence to the Mtgwa KO. Roger came in really light and gave away his only potential advantage.

I think Jaunma is the bigger hitter.

Gamboa is dangerous because of his world class speed.

He hits you when you don't see it coming.
i agree with you on this one

Gamboa has been on the canvas more than Lopez and by lighter punchers than Lopez. However I don't think Gamboa has a soft chin. I think it's more due to him leaving himself too open and that's the problem. When you're facing a puncher like Juanma you don't want to leave yourself that open.

On the other hand we've seen Lopez staggered by and hurt by guys less powerful than Gamboa. The difference between those guys and Gamboa is that Gmaboa has the speed to put more punches together for a finish. He has the speed to finish Juanma once he has him hurt.

So all in all it's a toss up fight. I'll be rooting for Lopez with fingers crossed.

Marquez, though really strong at 118, still must have had respectable and dangerous pop at 126. I think with some rest he can still ROFLSTOMP most guys at that weight, even at 35.

He is a diminished fighter, sure, but still greater than most.

As for Juanma Calling out my boy JMM I think he's drinking too much Koolaid. Stay far away from JMM. He has started to look old, but he has serious pop at 130-135.
Good God, man! JMM is much more dangerous than Rafa...he may be older, but he's probably the better of the two...and at a higher weight...he beats Juanma.

Although, wait 'til Katsidis to see any signs of slipping.

No eres bruto , pero eres medio cerrao.

Gamboa es mucho mas rapido que cualquiera en su division. Pero el no puede mantener el volumen con la misma rapidez durante toda la pelea. Es imposible. No me im porta quien sea.

Gamboa is faster so he will land more, so the question is if Lopez can take gamboa's punches

That would be the logical thing to say , and I cant disagree with you.

But the both get hit by lesser opponents. But Gamboa seems to go down more. And he hasnt faced any one that hits half as hard as Lopez hits.

Lopez on the other hand , has faced some "hard hitter". And hasnt been down as much. Only when he gets careless.

At least thats how I see it. I give Gamboa the adv. But I just dont think he has the heart , or the chin.
