    Can Gamboa take Lopez punches.

I give Gamboa the advantage. But thats only if Lopez gets sloppy and losses composure.

If he stays within distance and puts punches together. I dont think gamboa can take his power in the long run.

It was a surprise to me that Mtagwa took Lopez's punches like they were cupcakes.

And we all know Mexicans have probably the best chins in boxing. And marquez took some serious shots (they both did).

Im just not sure that Gamboa can take the same punch.

People say , "look what happened to Lopez against Mtagwa" , but inn reality ,
Lopez-Mtagwa wasnt even a close fight. He managed to hurt Lopez late. But it was a wide UD.

Gamboa-Salido was way closer. And we saw Lopez recuperating pretty quick from some badass left hooks.

Gamboas speed will be the factor in that fight. But if Lopez can get past the 5th and stay close. I doubt Gamboa can continue without getting caught and getting seriously hurt.

    Can Lopez take Gamboa's punches?

That's what makes this fight so great - both are tremendously gifted fighters, both have flaws.

IMO i have Gamboa over Lopez but as of lately Gamboa hasnt been very impressive and if he thinks he gunna beat Lopez easily then he has another thing coming.

Can Gamboa take Lopez punches? yes, a lot of them? no

I think Gamboa vs Lopez will be a good match cuz i know Gamboa will get dropped but the question is will he get up and finish?

Yeah it is a very intriguing matchup.

IMO Gamboa carrys power from speed. And it depends on how fresh he is on a round by round basis. Ive seen his speed decrease significantly as rounds go by.He can still get it out there faster than most in the late rounds , but he cant keep it up for the whole fight.

And I just think Lopez has the heavier punch over all. Gamboa has that blinding speed that catches you offguard/offbalance and stuns you.

Who do you think hits harder?

They both have power and both have so so chins but Gamboas chin is weaker.

I was gonna say the same thing.

If anything Gamboa seems to have a slightly better chin. He goes down but ive never seen him on ***** street like Lopez has been several times.

Gamoba is still a bit amateurish in some aspects of his boxing. I think your arguments applies equally to both sides. If Gamboa isn't careless I think he has te ability to hurt Lopez much more than Rafa did.

                  116-111 115-111 114-113 it wasn't that wide of a decision.

I think Lopez has the heavier hands but Gamboa is the harder hitter. Does that make sense? Gamboa has legitimate one punch KO power, whereas Lopez will where you down more. Gamboa is the bigger home run hitter but Lopez consistently gets double and triples.
