When Pacman was in lower division he relied on a heavy left hand to knockout the opponent. Just the left. Now he has to be a volume puncher using both hands for the higher division

only reasonw why pac has higher output at WW is because both de la hoya and clottey didnt throw punches. so of course pacman will let more go knowing they are all closed up

There's three possible explinations to this article. One, Pac is a physical freak. Or, Pac's using illegal PEDs. Lastly, and what I personally believe, Pac's competition has gotten weaker as he's moved up the scale.

The increase isn't the real issue here. He hovered around the weight limits average for the bulk of his career. The real issue is how he jumps from hovering around the average to, at his highest weight, out performaning the average by 22 FREAKING punches a round. That's not a issue of finding your other hand and throwing it an extra 22 times. Be honest with yourselves. This is like a homerun hitter hovering around 30-40 hr's a year and then at their oldest and heaviest weight start belting 70 hr's. I bet you fell in that group that said, "When he started he pulled the ball alot, now he's just starting to use the whole field." You guys are jokes.

Makes sense, if someone is healthier and better conditioned, they have more energy to throw more. Keep in mind the opponents he was fighting @ 126/130, he was averaging close to 70 punches/rd against people like JMM, MAB, and EM.

Take out the Clottey fight from his 147 stats and he's right back on par.

                  Hatton - 63 punches/round - 57% land rate
Cotto fight he averaged 70 - punches/round 43% land rate
                  DLH average - 73 punches/round -38% land rate

One thing to take note, he's alot more accurate these days

Good point. I totally forgot about the Clottey fight where he needed a high punch output to win. I was wondering why there was a dramatic increase of punches at the welterweight division. Good call.

Of course it could never be because of far superior conditioning and nutrition. That would be way too obvious for many of you. It has to be something deeper and darker to keep your paranoid minds happy!LOL
