Clottey is a joke! I was once a fan, but he clearly either took a dive against Paq or was scared! I am inclined to believe that he took a payoff as everything he threw (the few blows that he did land) landed and hurt Paq! Paq's face looked bad and had clottey pressed him, he would have won! So Clottey enjoy the few dollars you made off that fight as WE the fans know you for what you are.....A Fake phony, fraud!

well cotto wont want a rematch unless he lost to them,been like that since he lost in the amateur days and wanted to fight them again on the pro level.clottey got the "d" part on locked down for the most part.IF he just throws them hands more he would be trouble for opponents.he is basically one more loss to just being a stepping stone/journey man for future '54 contenders.

Listen to what you say, Clottey whose one of the top 25 fighters in the world between 147-154 doesn't deserve another shot at anytbing because he lost to the #1 or 2 depending on who you ask guy at those weights... Come on man...

Clottey has lost 3 fights in his career to Cotto (I thought he won), Margarito (very competitive fight) and Pacqiauo (Laid an egg), but all in all he's got nothing to hang his head about losing to any of those guys and def deserves more opportunities...

So many bad poster on this site. The man is a defense first kind of fighter. Why do i get the feeling everyone who's being negative to him in this thread are mayweather fans? Kind of ironic don't you think?

He was fighting the way he always fights. And he said it, pacquiao was too fast for him. Fast offensive fighter against a slower defense first fighter. Common sense the fast offensive guy puts the slower defensive guy on the defense all night. Also common sense that the defensive guy lands at a higher connect rate and lands cleaner shots on the guy not blocking.

Clottey said so much as that he was killing himself to make 147 so let's see what he does back at 154 which is where he started, where he ended Corrales' career...

He lost to the best guys in his era, again no shame in that at all.
