when you had Manny hurt and on the ropes in round 6 (I think it was) backing up to the centre of the ring so that Manny could come off the ropes, reset, and start his offense again..... well that was just super-considerate.

It was the nicest, most polite act, that I have ever seen performed within the squared circle. What a true gentleman you were.

that was the deal with Arum: just show up and nothing more and he'll have his money after the fight. If he had thrown a couple more punches every round, Arum will do everything in his power Clottey will never get a decent fight, hence the move to 154 for a Marg or a Cotto rematch. as promised.

He failed to turn it on because of pacquiao, combined with his style. He likes to block then throw, doesn't like to get hit. What happens when he's hopelessly out matched in speed and the other guy never stops throwing.......we saw it.

Cotto fight, he threw less and landed more. Was a 1 point fight on a fair card. He won more rounds but the knock down made it close. And he thought he was winning with cotto bloody and back peddling in the late rounds. Had the fight been in ghana you would be saying cotto failed to turn it on.

12 competitive rounds with cotto. And lasted 12 against pacquiao. Better then most i would say. He's a classic ghana fighter with the double guard. Unless he adapts a new style he will always fight that way. Defense first.

Don't confuse clashing styles(or a defensive style) with a lack of heart.

It had nothing to do with speed. Ive watched that dreadful fight 2 times and there was times when Manny was dead tired not really throwing any punches, he was catching is breath and clottey was just standing there. That is not the clottey I know. I've seen clottey walk down fast fighters like Zab, cotto etc. Manny is fast but he is not as fast as clottey is making out to be. I put my life on it that if Clottey was with golden boy and not top rank that fight wouldnt have happened. And had it happened Pac would've got knocked out in the later rounds.

That fight was staged. Even reading this aritcle and listening to clottey say sorry sounds crazy. It doesnt even sound like him.
