This is a Top Rank in-house exhibition match.

Yes, the title being at stake is my ONLY problem, other than cheato getting an undeserved payday.

They can go and *** each other, in a hotel room, in Upper Moldavia, for all I care..... but are you seriously trying to tell me that you think the winner will be a true world champion at 154 ?

    Give yourself an uppercut kid.

One of them could not even currently compete with the top welters.

The other guy's Team have recently complained that they just cannot get him above 146

Yet these two guys are fighting for a VACANT title, to prove who the best fighter is at 154

    LMAO

Did I mention, give yourself an uppercut ?
As I've said the trinket is more an afterthought. It was thrown in for a) the licensing fee and b) for marketing purposes.

The winner would not in my mind be a true world champion. The"Ring"belt is true world champ. But hey, a trinket is a trinket and it adds luster. If Pac wins, it's also a record and why would you not want that?

That trinket distances Pac from the pack, and just imagine the historical context................

HOW COULD A WORTHLESS TRINKET OBTAINED AGAINST AN UNWORTHY FIGHTER DISTANCE MANNY FROM THE PACK ?

        WTF ARE YOU ON ?

THERE IS NO HISOTRICAL CONTEXT, UNLESS YOU ARE A NAIVE WANKER.

MANNY WILL STILL BE A 6-DIVISION TITLIST, AS HE IS CURRENTLY.

Guy, you seem like a nice fella, but you are a totally naive fan-boy.

You seem to me to be a little inconsistent. You defend Haye for compromising the integrity of the sport and destroying his own integrity in order to gain a little extra money for his retirement fund, but when the boxing commissions do the same thing, you're upset. To me, either one puts integrity above money, or one doesn't.

            Oh please.

Haye has compromised the integrity of the sport? GTFOH.

Dave, you are usually a thoughtful accurate poster, and often an enlightening one, but your obvious blind hatred for Haye is clouding your judgement.

You are comparing the braggart comments of an insignificant mole-hill that has achieved next-to-nothing (Haye)..... with a mountain-like multi-divisional superstar (Manny) who is CHEATING HISTORY by fighting for a vacant jmw title, at a catch-weight, against an undeserving fighter who currently could not even compete with the top welters, and who just returned from a 12 month ban for glove loading.

Manny is cheating history, and I dare you to debate that with me, but how the hell has Haye compromised the integrity of the sport?

He is a blown-up cruiser, with excellent speed, no better than good skills, and an above average punch, who made some braggart claims and fired off a few personal insults toward the Klitschko brothers.

Haye has compromised nothing, unless you.....

a.) believe in every " hail-mary " claim made through the media, in which case I can name a dozen fighters RIGHT NOW that are also compromising the integrity of the sport, according to your crtieria

b.) were personally insulted by Haye's silly childish comments/antics

Who the *** even takes him seriously, he clearly ducked K2's recent 50/50 offer? His career will be judged in hindsight, just as is the case with every other fighter. His braggart comments mean nothing, and they certainly do not compromise the integrity of the sport.

One of three things will happen.....

1.) If Haye fails to enter into a unification bout before he retires, he will simply be added to the long list of boxing promises that were not fulfilled. He will be quickly forgotten, and will likely turn into a bar-room joke, even back home in England.

2.) he will fight a Klitschko, lose, retire with his pockets full, having been added to the long list of boxers that won a title but did not make any significant achievments - other than CW - let alone approach greatness

3.) he will fight a Klitschko, win..... actually, I'll just leave it there, I do not want to spend too much of my time exploring option 3, for obvious reasons

I have NEVER defended Haye for compromising the integrity of the sport, I have only ever attacked that childish "coward" rubbish. But Dave, I have been consistent, I have defended at least a half dozen fighters for that exact same thing, as you are probably aware.

Timing, is almost always the real issue, as-is the case with Haye.

I don't give a **** about David Haye, and heavyweight is my least favorite division. There are currently only 3 heavyweights that I am even slightly interested in, and none of them are named Haye.

One I have been a fan of for more than 10 years, two his younger brother who I came to admire maybe 4-5 years ago, and three who moved up from cruiser about a year or so ago and puts on a real good fight.

Dave, with all due respect, can we please pick up on this some other time, or somewhere else? Maybe make a thread and send me the link?

Haye is not the topic of conversation here, and I feel very strongly about the issue of Manny fighting for a World Title in a division that he does not belong in, and will not be defending, against an undeserving fighter, that is unworthy of the opportunity because he is a bum and a cheat.
