If Bruce Lee only concentrated on boxing he cud ov been a truly great boxer. Less to master for him. He had the attributes. He had phenomenal speed, power and he was naturally elusive.
Being just a great boxer didnt interest him though. He had higher aspirations.

it's ****** when people say how great bruce lee was, unless they trained with him themselves, and didn't hear it from their best friend's mother's cousin's roomate with a lisp. i mean seriously, there isn't any evidence to compare how he would have faired against today's fighters in the boxing ring or in mma, only a couple clips here and there and a bunch of pictures. the man was obviously dedicated to his training, but remember he was an actor first.

wot do u mean he was an actor first. He took his martial arts much more seriously than his thespian acting.
Bruce Lees dad was a comedian who had acted and this gave Lee the opporrtunity to be seen on screen. Everybody knows fighting was Lees passion. He wanted to be the greatest fighter in the history of the world. That shows where his heart lied, dont u think?
If he concentrated on purely boxing it is safe to assume he wud have been a dangerous opponent for any boxer.

There's no way an asian could be that good...Bruce Lee sucks...like all other asians. Asians also did not invent martial arts...they took it from the europeans. White peeps rule the world!

What kind of kindergarden bull**** is this.

He never had one single fight.

To say he would've become a champion just because he looked good punching and kicking on film is as dumb as saying Van Damme would've become a champion

as a young kid i used to think bruce lee was invincable. but to say he could have been a great boxer is unfair to the great fighters of the past.

you can't just pick up a pair of gloves and be an all-time great. sure you can be champion if you got power along with a bit of other skills but all-time great is a differnt catagory.

as for the chavez comment, nobody hurts chavez with one punch, or even close to killing him in the ring.

interesting how no one has asking ali, how lee would have faired in as a boxer had he chosen boxing, i know i've read the ali v. lee did happen yet no cameras were allowed to film the fight/sparring.

No doubt he was a freak of nature, and could have taken up boxing and been good at it. An all time great? We will never know. I still wont call him "just an actor" though, he is the starter of mixed martial arts, and trained many great fighters.
