shane mosley is tougher and has a better chin than miguel cotto ever had.Cotto struggled with smaller welterweight's like zab judah and an older version of mosley too.I dont think that mosley would haved folded like cotto did against margarito if he was hit with them shots.But thats the whole point he never gave margarito the chance to land aany big shots on him and tied up margarito whenever they were on the inside.

Good points, but is that because Mosley had a great game plan or was Margarito not confidant enough to take control as the shots weren't effecting Mosley?

I just didn't see the power and will behind anything like I did when Margarito fought Cotto

how can you compare both fights,??...margarito didn't land as many punches on shane as he did on cotto,with cotto he landed a bunch of punches,what did you expect his face to look like if he's taking a lot of punches? mosley fought differently against marg than cotto did,pac left cotto's face a mess,worse than what margarito did,so does that mean he had loaded gloves too just because his face looked worse?..marquez didn't even look like cotto did when he fought pac,it's ridiculous to compare both fights and say something was in his gloves just because shane didn't feel the punches like cotto did,shane has always taken a good punch,cotto never,look at what he did with clottey and pac,he ran when he felt the power,both fights arent even close,cant compare them...but we will see what happens with pac/marg fight,if pac is all messed up,cut up what excuse will people use? that he had loaded gloves?

I didn't ever say anything was in his gloves. I'm just saying that Margarito fought differently. He didn't fight the same. Mosley's game plan might have been the reason but Margarito didn't fight like he KNEW he could hurt Mosley. Maybe i'm just looking at it all wrong but like I said it seemed like night and day. A confidant margarito in 08 and no so confidant margarito in 09. Like when the plaster was taken, his heart and pride was taken. Like he KNEW he couldn't do anything. Just as his last fight. It was horrible and i'm sure a lot of it was ring rust.

But my point is, if "old man" Mosley can walk threw him, Pac will bite him, chew him and spit him out before 10. I think he lands over 1,000 punches before rd 10 (that imo takes Marg out).

If he is at or slightly below 160 right now he should be fine to make 150 on the 12th and the blow back up to 160 or more on the 13th.

Forgot to add. All fighters say they are fine with the weight, they are good, etc. But when you hit a certain age as a boxer, you can't be going down in weight, you have to go up in weight or stay at a weight. 10lbs over the catchweight with less than 14 days away?

I think you are really only taking into account the punches from that night but if you notice also Mosley was bullying Margarito around the ring

when have you ever seen any fighter bully Margarito? sure he lost to PWill but never did P push Tony around as if nothing. Not even Clottey who is technically bigger than Shane

Possibly.... but if that's the case why would anyone think Pac would EVER lose to Margarito. He's a come forward slugger that wont be denied (unless he fights a smart, slick counter puncher) either....

I just want the BEST fighting the best. If Pac wants a title at 154 than Martinez (who's the same size as Margarito) is the man to fight! An old man in Mosley exposed Margarito. There is no reason for Pac to be fighting him as we all know how it will end. If ANYONE should get a chance to fight him, it should be Cotto. Pac's one of the best and should be fighting one of the other best weather that be at 147 or 154......

Especially since we the fans want so much more from Mayweather. We expect nothing less than him fighting the best and degrade his wins regardless of who he fights. Yet we tend to give Pac the pass and get out of jail for free card when he faces everything but the best.....

It's funny cause for the Mosley fight Margarito was asked how he felt & if he was gonna try to to go up in weight again any time soon to try to get a title at a 2nd weight class, & Margarito said(before the fight) that he was in the BEST SHAPE of his LIFE & that he DIDN'T have any plan's to go up in weight cause he DIDN'T have any PROBLEMS MAKING the weight!!! Then after Margarito got STEAMROLLED by Mosley he started throwing out EXCUSES about weight problems & saying that the hand wrap incident threw him out of his game plan(he couldn't concentrate) ect ect...BULL S H I T!!! Margarito just doesn't want to admit that Mosley came in with the right game plan & fought the perfect fight & GAVE HIM THE ASS WIPING OF HIS LIFE!!
