You said it would of been 10x more boring than Baldo.

However, Marg was better than Baldo in every way, as slow as Marg is IMO Baldo was slower, I think Marg punched harder, I think Marg put on better pressure, Marg was better in cutting off the ring than Baldo, it helped that Marg was longer, lankier than Baldo. and Marg had a way better offense than Baldo.

Marg could throw 1300+ punches in a 12 round fight. Baldo never showed he was capable of that.

Marg was a level or two better than Baldo. He just was. I just really disagree that Marg would of been 10x more boring than Baldo. IMO Marg was just more of a threat than Baldo, was he a threat to beat Floyd? Not saying that just more of a threat than what Baldo was.

But Baldomir held real titles.. and was the man at the time. Everyone wanted Floyd to fight him, like Brain Kenny.. He beat Zab.

Margarito would have brought out the best in Mayweather.Against a plodder like Baldomir,Mayweather could get away with moving around and potshotting Baldomir.Against Margarito,Mayweather would need real offense.Margarito is the type of fighter that brings out workrate and offense in his opponents.Clottey never worked as hard in a fight as he did against Margarito.

He really couldn't and it kills me that Marg didn't really get the respect he deserved around that time.

I just don't get how fans are so fascinated by Baldo. Acting like he was on Marg level when he never was.

Yes he beat Judah, but Judah never wanted to fight Marg. And, that was for a reason. I that time I have no doubt that Marg would of ran through Judah.

I swear is like when fans want to act like Marg wasn't the best WW at the time. To me, is like fans didn't really follow the WW division closely.

My thoughts exactly,

that version of Margarito made everybody fight. You couldn't be cute in there, his pressure was so insane you had to fight. There were no amazing skills, he was never an ATG talent, and shouldn't be mistaken for that. But, there was something special about Marg, that he made you have to fight so you could win. If you really didn't fight and sit down on your punches you would of gotten ran over.
