Mayweather's prime ended afer he fought Arturo Gatti.

It was all down hill from there.

He's shot to pieces, but he's still my favorite.

Once I saw him abandoning the jab to the belly, I knew he wasn't the same fighter.

His performance against DLH? HA! Laughable.

I did like what he did with Hatton though, but the Mayweather who fought Bruseles would've had Hatton out there a long time ago.

I like him because he is the villain and an individual. I hate when everybody loves you because you never know which one will be there at the end. You never know who is riding with you until your no longer in the spotlight or you can no longer pay for their cars, or houses or whatever. Family will definitely be there but fans and friends just ride your wave. Trust me why would anyone want to be around you unless your doing something to be admired. People sweat you with hopes of becoming famous or rich overnight but they never think about the work or dedication or sacrifices you had to make to get there. They are looking for a quick way to the top but there is none. On this site i noticed people watch what they say to gain favor from other people what is it you can't stand on your own 2 feet and have your own opinion? if you are hated you always know what people are thinking of you and you are never caught of guard by someone pretending or just wanting something from you. I never played a role for anyone or anything i am what i am and if you don't like it tough. Remember i have to live with myself everyday you don't!!

I'm curious as a Mayweather fan why do so many of you hate him? Is it because of his bravado, alleged ducking, fighting style? It boggles my mind how so many people can judge a man that they don't even know. Now who knows what really went on with Floyd outside the ring? I simply judge fighters by what they do in the ring. I'm far from a Pacquiao fan but I appreciate his boxing ability but I'm not going to say he's a great guy because I don't know him personally. For all I know both May and Pac could both be asswholes or nice guys. Has Floyd done some ****** stuff yes, but he never seems to get credit for what he's done in the ring. People act like Floyd's career has only been at welterweight. People tend to forget when Floyd fought Hernandez, Manfredy, Corrales, Chavez, Castillo(2), etc. Floyd took on this"Money" persona simply to make more of it, and its funny how so many people label Floyd as this and that because of what they see on tv. Has every fighter fought who u wanted them to fight? Have there been no fighters that talked trash before? Every fighter has their short comings, but they should be appreciated for what they do in the ring. Floyd is the most hated boxer I've ever seen, so please tell me why some of you hate him so much.......

Floyd's first half of his career was good. I started to dislike his style after Baldy. I also think he's been riding his popularity after ODH a bit to much. I think the Hatton fight was his best over the last 5 years. I also dislike that he retired in his prime when the welter division was about to overflow with incredible fights. He has amazing talent, but only gives just enough. 20 mil isn't enough to give your all?

I dislike what he did to JMM as well. That was just wrong and showed no class or respect. Same with the Ustream thing. He talkes about all he gives to the kids and this and that, then he proves that he is the farthest thing from a role model.
