yeah well p4p is not dependent on who has a better resume at 147.

pwill should have a better resume at 147. he has over 15 fights at 147.

how does his 130 , 135 , 140 resume stack up against floyd?

how does his 112 , 122 , 126 resume stack up against pacquiao?

p4p rankings is based on skills and resume. pwill is not even in the same zip code as pacquiao and floyd in both. maybe not even the same state.

cotto , clottey and marg are about equal in difficulty.

cotto and marg are equal resumewise.

mosley was still a top 2-3 fighter at 147 when floyd beat him.

where was winky at in his career?

If that's how P4P rankings are based then you're absolutely right, there is no way Williams could be #1. Even under that criteria if he beat one of them, he couldn't be number 1 because it is only at one weight and one fight. I have always felt that P4P rankings is simply a ranking of who are the best fighter in the world presently.

Paul can make 147 or 154, the divisions those two fight and if they aren't willing to give him a shot I can only look at as they are ducking him.

Paul Williams isn't that good. Sorry to the PWill fans.

He has an argument for number 3, and another win, especially convincingly, would give him a better argument, though I think Marquez is the clear cut number 3.

Number one is ridiculous, Pac and Floyd are the no brainer, no question 1 and 2.

Men Williams will need to beat, Martinez,Pavlik Cintron,Cotto, Pirog, ect, ect to be consider for that spot. He doesnt need to beat Pac or Floyd he just need tp beat 4 or 5 elite guys, wich a he wont gets fight with and B he will lose to most of them.

and they are not in the same weight class, Williams is fighting in his own division, Floyd last fight was at WW and Pacquiao is fighting in his own division once again.

There is merit to this argument.

If you want to be considered top of p4p you should be willing to fight the other (all) top fighters at your weight.

forgetting about records for a moment, the fact that mayweather and pacman will likely never be willing to fight PWill makes it a stalemate, i'd be pissed off if i was PWill.

                    just my 2 cents.
