baldomir beat judah for the wbc, wba, ibf and ring magazine titles in his hometown nyc. Baldomir didnt hold the wbo but was still basicly the undisputed ww champion of the world, nobody questioned who was the man in the division.

zab won those titles by knocking out cory spinks in his hometown of st.louis.

cory spinks won the ibf outpointing roman karmazin, then unified it with the wbc and wba titles earning the ring magazine title in the process beating ricardo mayorga.

mayorga won the wba title knocking out andrew lewis then unified it with the wbc title by knocking out vernon forrest.

Forrest beat mosley, who beat dlh, who beat whitaker etc etc.. (the man who beat the man, who beat the man..)

i just broke down the ww divsion for years leading up to floyd beating baldomir. Ohh and let me add cotto was at 140 where he turned down a fight with floyd, dlh was at 154 or 160, mosley was at 154, vernon forrest was in retirement, floyd beat zab before fighting baldomir and spinks career was on hold after the ko loss to zab in his home town. The only guy out there was margarito who held the wbo but had no big wins at that stage of his career, no real fanbase and was ranked third in the division (behind zab and baldomir).

Im not saying beating baldomir is a great win for floyd, but u cant say floyd ducked anyone bcuz he took on the man who was highest regarded at the weight at that time. Thats all he can do, or should he be able to see into the future?

its funny how some agree to anything that supports their argument even though it is wrong. spinks beat karmazin at 154 AFTER he was ko by zab. lineage at 147 went from don king fighter to don king fighter to don king fighter to don king fighter. he wouldnt let any of his fighters anywhere near tony

baldomir was the #1 WW in the world, he held the WBC, WBA, IBF and Ring magazine titles (before vacating the WBA and IBF for monetary reasons). he was the man at the weight, ppl said floyd was ducking him when he fought judah. nobody said shit about margarito until he beat cotto several years later when floyd was already in retirement. tony then got ktfo in his very next fight before floyd returned.

You can type as many words as you want to validate Baldomir as a fighter.. but I ain't buyin none of that *****t. Dude was barely a B class fighter. Belts don't do a damn thing but collect dust anyway..
