Hell Estrada(dude in my avi) might be just as good as Baldo TBH.

Clottey was beating Baldo, pretty much was handling him with ease, if you see that fight. Before he went all mental midget and cross the line with a biased hometown might I add.

While Marg beat Clottey, so bad that Clottey start claiming his hand was broken. And, then later revealed it wasn't broken at all. It was just that Marg skill and will was too much him.

    GTFOH,

Marg is oen or two levels above Baldomir. In every way shape and form. There is absolutely NOTHING that Baldo does or ever did better than Marg.
Baldomir was beating Tony(before he hurt his hand) and Cotto....

    BIG DEAL...

    Carlos had him Clottey HURT.

Margarito isn't 2 levels about Chavez Jr....much less Baldomir.

When Baldo was fighting REAL fighters.....Tony was in WBO land fighting Hercules Keyvelos level fighters.

Tony=WBO level fighter...never unified anything or even tried to.

Marg was an elite WW of the last era. What are you talking about? Maybe not elite P4P wise. But, as WW goes he was an elite WW. Granted the WW era wasn't as good as the 90's WW era let alone the 80's. But, Marg was still elite. And, arguably the best WW of that era. Along with Shane and Cotto. So what are you asking here?

Was Floyd offered a career high payday and a date to fight Marg?

Do you see the difference here?
How much did Floyd get to fight Baldomir, the lineal WW champion? 8 mill How much was he offered to fight Margarito, who held no titles? 8 mill How much did Floyd make against De La Hoya? 20+mill.

Margarito has never brought anything to the table. Why should Floyd have fought him for no bealt, when he could get the same amount of $ fighting Baldomir for the lineal WW crown?

Are you ******? Like really you must F'ing ******ed? How long has your dumbass been watching boxing?

Baldo never fought Tony. WTF are you talking about?

Clottey was beating Baldo easily, late in the fight. That is all there is to it. So what that he was hurt, he was beating Baldo AFTER he was "hurt". So WTF are you talking about?

Tony never tried? GTFOH.... Don King didn't want to put Mayorga in their with Marg, Zab Judah straight said he did not wanted to fight Marg, Floyd stuttered did everything he could to avoid Marg. Turning down career high paydays and shit. So GTFOH with your BS that Tony never tried.

Is obvious that you do not know what you're talking about.

Marg is one or two levels above Baldmoir. That should not even be debatable. The only reason Judah gave Baldo a shot and not Marg. Is because, Baldo was suppose to a tune up while Marg was a real threat. GTFOH.

a lot of ppl fail to see that the decisions floyd made up to and after the baldo fight were probably the best decisions he's made in his entire life. if not for those choices, who knows if he wold have been the mega star he is. should he have fought margs??? as a fan i would have loved to see it, but do i fault him on his decision making?? nope. does that make him a duck? maybe...imo leaving arum and fighting dlh at 154 was a much more dangerous fight and it bought a whole lot more money. wise business decision, proly the best one made by a fighter of this decade.
