Why are you jumping to 2007 and we're talking about 2006?

Which offer came first? Lets not forget that Floyd was offered to fight Marg in August, that means he could of still be offered the Baldo fight for the end of the year.

He turned down the August fight, and then was offered again the Marg fight for Nov. He later then bought out his contract.

And, was offered the Baldo fight for Nov.

So yet you didn't answer my question. Do you see the difference between Floyd-Marg and Pac-Bradley yes or no?

*******s have no common sense, its a damn shame!

Marg never brought anything to the table? WTF are you on?

He was the best WW at the time and brought the highest career payday at the time. Plus he was the longest reigning title holder.

Floyd could of had fought the best WW in August and then get the lineal title later that year.

Anyways, beating the best fighter in the division at the time>One of the worse lineal champions in WW history.

****ing noobs want to have selective memory. they are now trying to marginalize margarito & make him out to be some nobody to downgrade pacquiao & margarito's legitimate claim as to being ducked by floyd & to prop up floyd's flimsy legacy.

baldo might have been technically lineal, but he was far from the best welterweight at that time, & in no time was baldomir EVER BETTER THAN MARGARITO.

Save the avoiding talk for Pacman....he only fights slow flat-footed fighters...after they've been KO'd and DRAINED.

Where was Tony and all his "most feared man in boxing" when Vernon Forrest was Champion?

He was quiet as a roach ..

He didn't even call-out Spinks and Judah.

margarito was top 10 p4p by ring magazine in 2006:

Was rated by ring magazine as the 6th best welterweight of the past decade,

& has been top 10 rated welterweight by ring magazine since 2001:

its pretty obvious what the floyd stan fanboy fluffers are doing, trying to soften the ducking charge by margarito against floyd by trying to completely reinvent the history & marginalize/discredit margarito's accomplishments.

good thing we have the internet & record keeping & the fact that these same trivial pacquiao haters HAVE ZERO WEIGHT, CREDIBILITY, & WEIGHT to their opinion.

Damn its soo much Manny lovers on this page h8'n on Floyd!!!! Look! b4 u think im defending floyd, im really not, Im a fan of boxing so b4 you lable me a Floyd fan i wanna make **** str8. Now Floyd is right about Margarito, he is slow an he is flat footed now Manny fans stop trying to justify why this is a good fight for manny by sayn "well y did floyd duck him" Yes Floyd ducks ppl but so does manny, thats y he didnt fight shane when shane said he'd fight him. Point is floyd is right no matter how much manny fans wanna twist this **** around, it wont make Margarito any faster, or anymore agile in there fight next week.

Is either these mofo's are some f'ing ****riders like no other, or they just did not follow sport really closely back then, or are just plain idiots.

He was offered the Marg fight in Aug of 06, he could of fought that and then bought out his contract and then fight Baldo and Oscar and be where he is at today.

Then only it would not have worked if he would of lost to Marg in Aug of 06 or Nov if 06 if he would of chose him then. And, if that is the case then yes it was a genious move to have avoid Marg. Because, that is what he did avoid Marg.

MARGARITO BRINGS NOTHING TO THE TABLE, who cares if Floyd was offered 8 mill to fight him, he made the same amount fighting Baldomir less than a year later. Floyd bought out his contract so that he could fight De La Hoya, anybody who doesn't think this was a good move is ****** beyond belief and has no business using a computer. How much money is Pac getting for fighting Margarito, and how much would he get to fight Bradley? I bet u if Bradley cleans out the junior welterweight division Pac still won't fight him!
