The WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko is a little nervous over Dereck Chisora's legal troubles. The undefeated British challenger is scheduled to appear at the City of Westminster Magistrates' Court on November 10, which is only four weeks before his fight with Klitschko in Mannheim, Germany. Chisora is going to appear for sentencing on theft and assault charges. The assault charge alone carries a maximum penalty of six months in prison and/or a fine.

Yeah, it's the UK. Our sentences are gifts compared to what other countries would give for what Chisora apparently did. Might get a bit of community service or something but doubt he'll ever go down.

Not to mention that two of those duckers couldn't even be ready for December 11th even if they wanted to. Valuev is having his second surgery after the first has been unsuccesful and Gaye would be coming off a Farce fight. Povetkbiatch is the only one that could fight theoritically but if that dude followed boxing for the last 2 years maybe he would know that he wants none of Wlad.

As to the revelations, it least its good that Wlad has a back-up plan but I am surprised Wlad's lawyer, Boente, didn't do more investigation on Chisora. His legal troubles were public knowledge, they should have taken that into consideration.

Finally, this is a lesson to all the wifebeaters/girl beaters out there (Chisora, Mayweather), you are not only going to face legal troubles you are going to loose a serious payday.
