Hell I would give him all the credit in the world if he beat Berto, who is at least fast, young, and undefeated.
make a statement....floyd doesnt wanna fight man..he doesnt even talk boxing on facebook all he talks about is ********

agreed. i wouldn't give him credit either unless he retires first, fights a lightweight at 145, comes in overweight, gets into the ring with an almost 40 yr old man with almost a year of inactivity, THEN takes a vacation.

gotta give credit where credit is due and pac just doesn't deserve it imo.

How many lightweights in history could have moved up to beat Sugar Ray Leonard at welterweight? I will move Pac up as soon as he proves that he can beat a fighter that gives him stylistic match up problems. That's why a fight with Marquez is so intriguing he's shown he has a style that gives Pac problems. I would love to see Pac prove that he can beat JMM decisively, no matter what weight the fight is at.

Is Floyd the only legitimate challenger out there? Btw I would criticize Floyd all the same if he was fighting Margarito.

and u gave a nod to a man Martinez a spot who hardly takes a foothold in his only division or ruled that weight class in an iron grip??

Why? Margarito is a good opponent. No one should be criticised for fighting him.

The criticism i have is that the fight taking place is for a VACANT title belt at a CATCHWEIGHT!

Margarito is a proven cheater and in his two fights without loaded gloves that we know of he has looked pedestrian.

Actually I agree if Martinez beats Williams on Nov.20 he should be with out a doubt the fighter of the year and a good argument can be made for the best JrMW and MW being P4P#2.

even if you want to leave Manny 1 but in all honestly Manny's 2010 should be counted as an inactive year

clottey and margarito aren't the best available opponents at the time, sure.

but manny's wins over them should not be completely thrown out the window.

p4p is is subjective and just an individual's opinion.

                      but..

if 90% of the community thinks of one p4p #1 then it's more than just opinion.
