If P Will beats Martinez he will take his spot. As far as Pac is concerned I wasn't impressed with his last fight against Clottey and the Margarito fight makes no sense. If Floyd continues to be inactive and Pac beats the winner of Alexander Bradley, Khan, Berto, or Marquez, etc. he will move to # 1. Manny has yet to prove to me that he can beat somebody who is fast and has superior boxing skills. I'm tired of him fighting the same style over and over.

u should have considered that Pac just came from superfeatherweight beating world class boxers above his weight limit....even if u claimed that he beat boxers that were previously beaten, how many boxers can u list from the lower divisions that can beat over the hill but still world class ODLH or SSH for that matter?? Do u think Guzman or Humberto Sotto can beat fighters like ODLH HAtton or Cotto??

Fighters like Humberto Sotto aren't considered ATG like Pac. Duran came up from lightweight to beat Leonard at welterweight, and he gave Hagler a run for his money at middleweight. Leonard and Hearns also moved up in weight. Sugar Ray Robinson and Archie Moore also moved up many weight classes. These are the guys Manny's compared to. If he wants to reach that status he can't fight guys like Margarito, especially at catchweights.

so that means thats the definition of a true P4P,then why is he no.3?? BTW LW and WW is not that a big difference dnt u think, not like flyweight or bantamweight to MW..its a big difference....

He very well may be but I'm not going to give a fighter a #1 ranking simply for fighting. Manny had a chance to make a statement with his next fight and he choose to fight Margarito? I just want to see Pac beat a confident fighter coming into the ring that will present stylistic match up problems for him, that's all. Hell I would give him all the credit in the world if he beat Berto, who is at least fast, young, and undefeated.
