None of the jr welters are worth anything in box office except Khan, and Khan and Manny are stablemates who have arch rival promoters. So unless the Mayweather fight happens, the well has dried up for Pacquiao.
The Mayweather fight is up to Bob , he could have had it in March but Bob and Pac walked out on 14 days ,,,,, if Bob agrees to Floyds full OST and the purse is hashed out the fight will happen its up to Bob , so he does have a guarantee because its up to him .

The only reasoning against that is that there is not enough Manny to make him take a dive (most likely). Margarito on the other hand could get future fights even if he looks alright in a loss so to maximize revenu it pays best for Manny to continue on, if Margarito looks good they could do a rematch anyways.

Margarito would probably be around longer than manny though so any short term losses could be sopped up by time.

What can you do, the world is always going to have conspiracy theorists. For others it is just a coping mechanism because reality is to harsh for them.

So what your saying is you want to maximise the win regardless of the terrible form Margo is in , the lay off , the beating Mosley gave him , so basicly you just want to run with the name value from a reputation built on cheating , when that advantage was taking away from Margo he was totally destroyed ,,,,, yeah its a big win for Manny isnt it

That fight is a money tree. If it could have been made, it would have already. These OST demands are just a BS negotiating ploy by Mayweather. They've failed to get the fight done twice when it would never have been hotter. Arum would have to be a fool to count on it happening next year, especially now that Floyd and his trainer are going on trial.

How did you feel about the reality that Pac lied about accepting full testing only to walk away from the May fight again , he lied to sign a cheater in Margo , explain what that reality means buddy ?

it is completely idiot, ******, just plain dumb. To even come up with the idea that Marg is going in there to take a dive.

If you want to say the judges might be payoff fine.

But, Marg is coming to win. Will he or can he is a different story. But, he is not laying down for anybody. He is coming to win.

Crazier things have happeaned in boxing, Arum may not be counting on it but aslong as that is the biggesst money fight there is little chance of the door being shut completely, shutting the door completely on the richest fight in history is what would truly be foolish of Arum no matter how negotiations previsouly went.

If Margarito wins this fight, all those other things you mention are forgotten. He will have beaten Pacquiao with carefully inspected wraps. There will be a big demand for a rematch, which would generate a LOT more revenue than any non Mayweather fight on the horizon. So why would Arum spend money (cutting down on his own take) for Margarito to lay down? Margarito would have very little use other than to test other prospects, and Pacquiao has to take a pay cut in his next fight.
