If the fight is fixed, Margarito wins

I'm so tired of reading all these idiotic threads claiming that this fight is fixed so Pacquaio can't lose. That makes no sense when you analyze it. First of all, the amount of money Margarito would make in his future fights if he were to win far exceeds what Arum (or whoever else) could possibly afford to pay him. Second, throughout boxing history there is one main reason fights have been fixed. That would be to make money betting on the underdog. Nobody is going to make big money ******** on Pacquaio. You could cash in very nicely betting on the heavy underdog here. Finally, if Margarito wins an exciting fight, the rematch would be HUGE. Don't tell me that Arum is protecting Pac for the mega fight with Mayweather. That fight has already failed to happen twice, and there are plenty of bad feeling with both sides. Not to mention that Floyd has some felony issues to deal with.

If Pacquaio wins big, what else is there for him? Nothing that would even come close to a rematch with the man who just beat him. Don't pretend that Manny is going to fight the Williams-Martinez winner. That just isn't happening for a number of reasons. As a disclaimer, I'm not saying that if Margarito wins the fight was fixed. But I am saying if the fight really is fixed, then Margarito wins. Think about it.

If Pac loses to Margarito, Top Rank is screwed. Pac is a global icon, regarded as the best, and if he were to lose to someone that Mosely destroyed (margarito being drained and not focused is beyond the point, people saw him get KO'd) and is seen as a cheater, Arum's whole plan and the biggest fight EVER with Mayweather is out the window, dont fool yourself on who Arum and crew NEED to win.

I won't go as far to say that the boxers are paid off....but the judges will surely be friendly towards Manny.

In any case....Margo won't win. He's ONLY licensed in Texas because Arum and Jerry have friends at the athletic commission. Margo winning does nothing for anyone.

All theories aside....styles win fights. Speed kills. And Manny will win a good UD, 117-111...

Arum knows by now that there is no guarantee that the Mayweather fight will ever happen. It actually seems unlikely. So after he destroys Margarito, where is the big money fight for Pacquaio? Nobody is buy a rematch with Cotto, especially if he takes out the guy who beat him. None of the jr welters are worth anything in box office except Khan, and Khan and Manny are stablemates who have arch rival promoters. So unless the Mayweather fight happens, the well has dried up for Pacquiao.

I don't think this fight is fixed either. But some resentful Mayweather fans are claiming otherwise to minimize Pacquaio's win.

The only toher option would be a cotto rematch with pac, but that wont get over 1 m ppv buys agen
