cmon now that's not actually a murderer's row now is it

Ayala- small guy had no business at 126 and fought scared (was there for this fight)
      El Terrible- great win
      Fana- crap win
      Peden- crap win
Juarez I- I thought Barrera lost and I at the time was one of the bigger Barrera fans I knew (was there for this fight)
Juarez II- fought a stinker where he didn't engage (was there for this fight)

I am of the theory that Barrera's absolute prime was about two years prior to the 1st Manny fight right around the Hamed fight to about the rematch with Morales

he was close to it no doubt but it still was a little past prime
This is crazy, prime should be not be used with the word ABSOLUTE. Absolute means free from imperfection. If you guys look for an absolute prime then there's no fighter like that exist. Anyways Pacquiao was not in hi prime either when he fought Barrera.

IMO anyways he was in his prime for the Pac fight. But, to say he was "done" Nah.... That just insane.
I thought it was deceptive because of the opponents he faced specifically Tapia and Kelly, both of whom had seen better days and it showed

but again it was close and still a great win for a fighter no one knew let alone gave a shot to in Pacquiao

so you're sayin that someone 'shot to ****' has the ability to rack up 6 wins against ranked contenders and one champion at a higher weight class?

ARUM knows what his doin and matches them up nice to make it look like it was so amazing when beating a old OSCAR means nothing but to you it does. to beat a hatton that the media overhyped em means nothing. luis colazo beat hatton but judges get payed off all the time do you think they were going to give colazo that dec...berto too common man i know you are a manny fan i am a boxing fan

relax I never made mention of whether Manny was in his prime I am only discussing Barrera

60 fights, a few wars, and some questions as to whether Barrera carried his power to 126 is a good reason to say he wasn't quite at his prime

why do you see this as an insult to Pacquiao? I still call the win great considering no one thought Pacquiao would even be competitive

know the subject matter before you try and engage in a debate. I do, plenty. Followed Marco since his debut with Forum Boxing
