Give me a link where someone of Team Khan said that Maidana wasn't their mandatory after the May 15th fight, or STFU.

I can't find them now, so I suppose it's possible that my memory is playing tricks on me on that score, but you've admitted Khan said that. And his business manager lied about Maidana being greedy when he was only asking for what he was entitled to.

If he was fighting an Interim WBA champion, he would have no choice. Those are the WBA's published rules. And Khan's business manager must have known that, or if he didn't then he was amazingly incompetent - which means he must either have been trying to con Maidana into accepting less than he was entitled to, or was trying to con the public into accepting that Khan should vacate. Either way he was lying.

HBO offered close to the amount if it was in the UK too though. Obviously they went for the option that gave mroe money.

Every fighter is not an Interim champion so that's a completely pointless and irrelevant statement. WBA Interim champions are entitled to that percentage.

You could equally say that if every fighter was given a contract by GBP guaranteeing them $1 million per fight then boxing as we know it will die. So what?

You shold browse some threads here. I didn't considered Malignaggi a threat and I don't consider Maidana athreat either. I only consider Bradley and Ortiz threats for Amir at 140.
