Team Maidana and their boring PR-articles

Stay updated with the latest boxing news, fight results, interviews, and rankings. Get real-time coverage of upcoming bouts, analysis, and exclusive insights from the world of boxing.

Maidana's PR Team is publishing these boring articles and is trying to make Maidana this likeable guy. They're putting words in Maidanas mouth and are trying to make it sound like Maidana is saying these things himself.

Like for example when Maidana faked a back injury because he was afraid to fight Bradley. He was scared like a little chicken and blamed it all on his previous manager. Maidana came up with the story that his back was injured. Not his previous manager. This new Team Maidana published an article trying to justify the faking of the back injury.

    They're FAKE.

99% of fighters/people act fake in the media. Khan said to the press that he's a ****** and is going to wait for the right girl and then got exposed sending pictures to a fat slag.

That's personal and has nothing to do with his job. The interviewer asked him the question so he answered.

Team Khan claimed Maidana was not Khan's mandatory when he was, and claimed Maidana was pricing himself out of the fight when he was only asking for what he was entitled to under the WBA's rules. Nothing personal about that, just lies that got badly exposed when the WBA took Maidana's side.

You mean Amir Khan. Not Team Khan. Amir was wrong. He was probably under the impression that he could fight two more times i.e. JMM and Ortiz.

But Maidana was pricing himself out. Team Khan offered Team Maidana twice his biggest payday. Team Maidana refused simply for the reason they didn't want to fight in the UK. They agreed on less money to fight in the US.

No, there were interviews with several members of his team in the UK press.

Maidana was asking for 45%. Which is what the WBA's rules say he's entitled to. That's not pricing yourself out or being greedy. Claiming that asking for what you're entitled to is being greedy is just a lie. And what he's earned in the past is completely irrelevant. He was Khan's mandatory and the Interim champion and that meant he was entitled to 45%.

The reason they're fighting in the US is that there is much more money on the table to fight there than in the UK, because of HBO. GBP have said so explicitly, many times, so stop making stuff up.

Give me a link where someone of Team Khan said that Maidana wasn't their mandatory after the May 15th fight, or STFU.

Bull****. So Wlad should give his mandatories also 45%? GTFO.

HBO offered close to the amount if it was in the UK too though. Obviously they went for the option that gave mroe money.

If every boxer who challenged for the true title wanted 45%, then boxing as we know it will die.
