Berto deserve more than 25% and its all HBO's fault. I dont blame Berto or lou, 25% to fight Mayweather or Pacquiao would probably be more than twice what Berto normally earns but 25% (If true) to fight Cotto wouldnt be more than Berto currently earn fighting low level opponents.

I'm not sure that Berto would even have the bargaining power of his 147 green belt as I can't see Steward letting Cotto drop to a 147 scale against Berto. Maybe WBC would be willing to diamond belt this thing if it was a catchweight of 150/151 which would give Berto more bargaining power since his WBC belt would be the trigger for the diamond belt...but even that's a stretch so the best Dibella could wish for is 40%. It would be Cotto's name, Cotto's home away from home (MSG or Yankee stadium around PR Day Parade), Cotto's fanbase etc. But if I'm Steward I don't settle for anything less than the 154 lmw limit as those extra 7 lbs could be exactly what the doctor ordered for Cotto in eliminating a bicycle performance by Berto and giving the fans a fight fought right in the center with back-n-forth action.

regarless of the money, atleast dibella understands that his guy dosent deserve more then cotto. dibella makes it sound like he's open to this fight happening so arum needs to step up and test dibellas statement.
