Pacquiao will not be an 8 division champ, even if he wins this fight..

He should have fought K9 then he could legitimately win a paper title against a defending champion.

He would've received criticism, if he fought Bundrage, yes, but in the end:

beating a reigning champion who won the title fairly > beating a tomato can for a title neither of them deserve to fight for.

Martinez wasn't ranked by the WBC when he fought Pavlik. It was an optional defense for Pavlik so he could've fought whoever he wanted and he chose Martinez.

You do realize the reigning champion is allowed to fight someone outside of their division, right?
Margarito was the champion when he fought Shane Mosley. That alone proves that he was championship material.

On an unrelated note, has anyone else noticed as November 13 approaches the *****s are getting angrier every day?

Margarito with bricks in his wraps may have been championship material, but without them he's a tomato and nothing more, as we all saw in the Mosley fight.

So you're assuming that Margarito had illegal wraps in past fights, which is speculation at best. Losing to future hall of famer Shane Mosley doesn't make you a tomato. I bet if Floyd were fighting Margarito, you'd think it was ****ing awesome.

Oh yeah, he's totally innocent. After all, why would he wanna use plaster against a prime, undefeated Cotto when he could use it against an over the hill and aging Mosley?

Mosley was clearly a faded fighter. Before the Margarito fight he struggled with Mayorga (and was arguably behind on the scorecards) before the stoppage. After the Margarito fight he was dominated by Mayweather and was arguably beaten by Sergio Mora. SERGIO MORA. All these fighters managed to compete with Mosley yet Margarito was used as a punching bag.

I would give Mayweather the same amount of criticism that I'm giving Pacquiao.

Styles make fights. Mosley's speed and timing was just too much for him. That's why he was handpicked for Pacquiao. Margarito had a terrible camp for the Mosley fight so that is why his desperate trainer loaded the gloves. Unless you can prove otherwise of course.

His opponent (Margarito) is not championship material and is only ranked as the #1 contender because the WBC is biased towards Mexicans. No other organization even has Margarito within the top 10. So what if he beat Roberto Garcia. Who's Garcia anyways?

And what has Pacquiao ever done in the light middleweight division? Nothing.

The winner of this fight basically wins a belt strap. Not a championship.
Big guy,ur new here, some advice, watch what U post about Pacman, his legions are strong & their not shy about dishing bad karma!!The truth is whether U or I or anyone that thinks with a clear head knows that this fight for a title is a disgrace to any top 154lb fighters!!But there is nothing that can be done,or changed until he retires!!I can't wait for him & Floyd to be gone from boxing for good!!
