Pacquiao will not be an 8 division champ, even if he wins this fight..

I'll tell you why. It's cause he and Margarito don't deserve to fight for the title.

His opponent (Margarito) is not championship material and is only ranked as the #1 contender because the WBC is biased towards Mexicans. No other organization even has Margarito within the top 10. So what if he beat Roberto Garcia. Who's Garcia anyways?

And what has Pacquiao ever done in the light middleweight division? Nothing.

The winner of this fight basically wins a belt strap. Not a championship.

it's a paper title, we all know this. WBC also was behind Leonard winning the super middleweight and light heavyweight titles in a single fight. No surprise.

Which means absolutely nothing, considering the circumstances.

I agree. Unless he defends it against a deserving legit top ranked Junior Middleweight, this is just a paper title.

Pacquiao vs Martinez/Williams winner at 154 would legitimize it, but that seems like a fantasy. I say seems because I never count Pacquiao out- no matter how impossible it sounds.

You honestly think that title means something? If I wrote, "Super Champion," on a piece of paper and handed it to the winner of a local club fighter after a victory, would that mean anything? A lot of guys have claims to X number of titles, but it doesn't mean **** anymore. It only had meaning when there was one title per division.

It's the same ***ing belt Floyd won at 154 and he wasn't ranked in the top 10 either just to remind everyone. Im not saying this is the legitimate 154 championship because it ***ing isn't but when you are the #1 ***ing fighter in the world according to every major news source in the world is it really that hard to phathom being ranked number 1 by one organization or another even if you move up in weight?

Seriously guys I know the PFP rankings are not official but you would atleast think they would count for something. I never thought that I would see the day that fans would complain because the highest ranked fighter in the world doesn't have to enter a new division and start with b- fighters so he can move up the rankings.

So if two bums fought for a vacant world title, that automatically makes the winner a true world champion? I don't think so. And the same goes with this fight.
