    2. well it seems like you know the fanbase of Manny by saying that the vast majority of non Asian fans there to see Manny had their tickets comped or given to them correct?

I would love to see exactly, and honestly, how many Manny Pacquiao fights you have attended either as media (proved by a press pass) or as a fan (proved by a ticket stub.

so answer my question, give my the crib notes version of your whole media outlet point and I will do in kind

even your statement nationalistic driven can be said for floyd or any other fighter.
FACT:They gave away FREE and discounted tickets to the Pacquiao vs. Clottey fight.

So probably the reason you saw so many whites and hispanics is because they got their tickets for free
As a result, the Gate for the fight was only something like $5 Million dollars because they didnt pay for the tickets.

    3. What is the point of me going to pacquiao fight?

Boxing is all about entertainment, drama, and mystery. Before and after the bell.

Pacquiao after the bell ring, is one of the most entertaining fighters of all time.
Pacquiao before the bell rings, is one of the most boring fighters of all time.

Plain and Simple, Pacquiao has no personality. Pacquiao appeal is him being the pride and hope of the Philippines. So doing a 24/7 surrounding his journey towards his next fight will be boring because he is only 1 dimensional. How many shots can they show of him being cheered by his countrymen? So it should not be no big surprise that people find Manny Pacquiao boring before the bell rings, and when it comes to promoting a fight.

So instead of some of you guys getting upset that people find pacquiao's 24/7 and interviews boring, just understand that Pacquiao draw is not based on him having a personality. So do not get upset when people say he is boring.
Because you know what? He is.
      thanks for reading the thread

And, is just so much I can take about hearing about cars, and big boy mansion, and making it rain.

He is no Camacho, He is no Ali, He is no Mayorga, he is no Tyson, he is no damn Jorge "maromero" Paez when it comes to entertainment or being funny, witty, or trash talking.
Yeah at least i'm not the only one who thinks this. A fighter who sticks and moves and is afraid to engage isnt even close to being entertaining. Wait excuse myself. Floyd engaged against a 39 year old Mosley.... lol.

              lol, 6.3 million my bad.

              Paid crowd: 36,371
              Comps: 5,472
              Total: 41,843

              * Discounted tickets. For example, a $700 ticket was sold for $500, while a $300 ticket was sold for $175

              Still proves my point nonetheless

Brutal said that Pacquiao Pinoy and Asian support stops at 250,000 Pinoys.

He actually put a cap on how many pinnoy's and asians support Pacquiao's fights.

He argues that anything over 250,000 ppv is coming from other races..and Not pinoy's because of the david Diaz fight.

If you would have read the thread you would have realise I destroyed his argument with the FACTS his argument of only 6.25% of pinoy's and 1.92% Asians support Pacquiao seems quite low and non realistic, add to the fact
                I asked the question,

Who are the majority of Pacquiao's fans?
                answer: Filipinos and Asians FACT

So FACTS tell you that Asians and Filipino's alone can support Pacquiao's recent numbers by themselves FACT

                since,

Asian alone are 4.5% = 13.8 million FACT
                Filipino's Alone are 1.5% = 4 million FACT

That proved Brutal argument wrong. That was the whole reason for the statistics.

But you would have known that if you would have read the thread.
Brutal's usumption carries the same merit as yours. He basically estimated that 20% of the population of Filipino Americans purchased Pacquiao PPV's which probably isn't off by too much. You suggest his numbers are way off yet you have no FACTS to prove otherwise. You both are arguing opinions but only you claim them to be fact.

Where is your FACTS that show the majority of Pac fans in the US are Asian? You need to back that **** up with actual facts, not just perception. Just because he has a large following from the pinoy community doesn't actually provide any numbers.

You proved yourself wrong, moreso than Brutal, at least he had the disclaimer that his numbers were guesses/estimates where you claim because there's 4 million Filipinos in the US, he gets decent numbers.

I'm of Filipino decent, I live in the SF bay area, I have family in the LA area and out of all the Filipino's I know (100+) only 6 purchased the last Pacquiao fight...I know more Mexicans that bout the Clottey fight than that! Tell me, how does your "statistics" explain my observations from the two regions with the highest population of Filipino Americans? You can't because its all bull****

And most of us were happy to see that. Does it make up for the fact that he's been feeding us stinkers since 06?

                    Look closely,
                    My argument is and was,
Based on the Asian and Filipino population, FACTS tell you that Asians and Filipino's alone can support Pacquiao's recent numbers by themselves. Brutal argument was they can not.

I said they "CAN" not that they "DO"

What do you fail to realise about the difference between those two words? or my argument?

                    Case closed.

                      3. What is the point of me going to pacquiao fight?

I did and to be honest I am not sure why you feel FB and Twitter is an integral part of how Manny can gain more US access.

he is not a showman yet people still gravitate to him

he is not flashy nor a big talker yet people still come to see him fight, watch his PPVs and adore him

calling attention to himself on twitter or FB isn't going to enhance that

different fighters have different styles. Some find what others find boring as entertaining or at the very least viewable

see I think you see brash and self promoting as important kind of like how you are personally

you create these threads largely to call attention to yourself and for the most part it works because people come to these threads

but something lacks and always has Horus. A genuine sense that you get something out of these threads as someone perusing this. Much like those who critique Floyd sure they come to watch him fight but a lot of times they leave feeling cheated, kind of like your threads

now Manny by contrast is all sound and fury he is basically a man of few words, kind of boring, kind of middle of the road, he talks really bad trash and he probably knows it

however he is one thing you could never comprehend and something you clearly overlook much like you clearly are avoiding my simple little question as to whether you have seen Pacquiao fight.

he is endearing to his fans. He is the epitome of speak softly and carry a big stick. When fans go into a Manny fight they know exactly what they get so they know if they purchase a ticket chances are they won't be disappointed

and I asked you whether you have been to a Manny fight for several reasons

                      1. you would then have firsthand knowledge as to what the crowd at a Pacquiao fight consists of not just speculation and assumption that non Asian people went because they were comped

                      2. you would get a firsthand view of what it's like to see a crowd energized by him. You would know how endeared he is to his fans and how loyal they are to him and ....and he has yet to disappoint them even in losing fashion.

                      3. going to fights is unlike sitting on here and speculating what it is like. You would know had you attended any and I think your assessment wouldn't be so media driven
