Boxing is all about entertainment, drama, and mystery. Before and after the bell.

Pacquiao after the bell ring, is one of the most entertaining fighters of all time.
Pacquiao before the bell rings, is one of the most boring fighters of all time.

Plain and Simple, Pacquiao has no personality. Pacquiao appeal is him being the pride and hope of the Philippines. So doing a 24/7 surrounding his journey towards his next fight will be boring because he is only 1 dimensional. How many shots can they show of him being cheered by his countrymen? So it should not be no big surprise that people find Manny Pacquiao boring before the bell rings, and when it comes to promoting a fight.

When its comes to promotion of this fight. What Storylines can they sell concerning Pacquiao?

          Pacquiao loves his country?
Pacquiao loves for his country is making him distracted?
Pacquiao countrymen find hope in him?

          Where is the Drama?
          Where is the Intrigued?
          Where is the Mystery?
          Where is the Entertainment?

Boxing is always at its peak popularity when it has fighters with Personalities.
Historically speaking there has always been two type of draws in boxing that resonate with the fans.

Personality Driven Fighter and Nationalistic Driven Fighter. It's rare, but sometimes 1 fighter processes both and than he is truly
          Transcendent figure.

Personality Driven Fighter: Are fighters who are infamous, and notorious
for the things they say as well as the way they fight. As a result, people pay to see them fight as well to see them win or lose.

Nationalistic Driven Fighter: Are fighters who are famous by in large part due to their Nationality and how their fighting style embodies the characteristics of their Nation. As a result, their countrymen and women usually find pride in them and support them.

          Personality Driven Fighters
          Thomas Hearns
          Marvin Hagler
          Bernard Hopkins
          Roy Jones Jr
          Hector Camacho

          Nationalistic Driven Fighter:
          Julio Ceaser Chavez
          Manny Pacquiao
          Alexis Arguello
          Felix Trinidad
          Miguel Cotto
          Antonio Margarito
          Wladimir Klitschko
          Joe Calzaghe

          Both(Personality + Nationality)
          Muhammad Ali
          Mike Tyson
          Roberto Duran
          Oscar De La Hoya
          Floyd Mayweather Jr.
          Jake LaMotta
          Sugar Ray Robinson
          Sugar Ray Leonard
          Ricky Hatton
          Rocky Marciano
          David Haye
          Gatti

So instead of some of you guys getting upset that people find pacquiao's 24/7 and interviews boring, just understand that Pacquiao draw is not based on him having a personality. So do not get upset when people say he is boring.
Because you know what? He is.
You typed all that. I'll type this. You're an idiot. Plain and simple.

How would I know how Pacquiao in the Philippines is if he doesnt have a facebook, if he doesnt have a twitter, if he doesnt have a youtube account.
You know all media sources that AMERICANS used to get more information about people.

He would be more entertaining if he had all three of those things, you know how?

Because all the stuff you say he does, would actually be seen by Americans through Facebook,Twitter,Youtube, and other American media sources..

                Understand

you're making my point for me...he doesn't even need to do ANY of that and his 'boring' and 'dull' personality seems to be doing close to Floyd numbers

could you just stop & just listen & read what you are typing? Just because YOU havent seen it, doesnt mean it didnt happen. Does brad pitt have a twitter, facebook, page? take someone like wayne rooney, does the average american know who he is & if his life is exciting? the british do, does he have a twitter, facebook page? seriously, when you look back at this thread you should be ashamed of yourself. Since when does having a twitter, youtube, facebook page a prerequisite for fame & validation if something happened?
