Thats ****** saying that boxing is somehow more useful in a street fight against a group of people than MMA. Since when do boxers fight multipile people at a time dumbass? What they have tag team matches now in boxing? Royal Rumble boxing matches?

It actually more has to do with the fact boxers try to stay on their feet and defend themselves and MMA'ers all want to take it to the ground where they are defenseless to anyone other than their opponents. You start armbarring someone you are defenseless. Boxers try to maintain their balance and their guard at all times.

And who cares? It's called ***ing stratagy numbskull and no not all UFC fighters are takedown artists. A lot of them are kicboxers and Mu Thai fighters that are more than happy to keep the fight standing.

Hell even this weekend Cain Velasquez an all american wrestler won the HW title by keeping the fight standing and he out struck his opponent who was also a wrestler. Goes to show how much you know.

Your knowledge of history is about as poor as your knowledge of combat. Romans fought in a legions. Similar to the greeks but even more uniform. The legions never broke. They fought with swords (gladius's) and shields. How are they grappling while holding a sword and shield? Show me a cite where it says roman legions were grappling. In fact any grappling would have destroyed a roman army as the way their shields were set up, your shield protected the man next to you. If one guy broke rank to get some nice dry humping on, everyone would have been killed.
