Knockouts as the result of a kick or a knee really aren't that common within MMGAY.They do happen on occasion, but they're not the norm.

Well you should correct yourself since they do happen.

"These sudden, unexpected and spectacular knockouts will always occur when an opponent can't take a punch, kick or knee."

so he thought a guy who couldnt punch, take a punch, kick, or have any ground game except lying on top of the other guy until he gets tired was unbeatable? (even though he'd already lost)

And he says boxing fans are ****** for paying for PPVs?

Guys like Lesnar shouldn't win in the UFC. A few years ago, he was performing suplexes on Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker, and apart from his wrestling background, he has no technical ability at all. I think Lesnar's dominance over the UFC HW division pre Cain, says more about the lack of decent HW's in the UFC rather than Lesnar's MMA attributes.

Lesnar is a physical freak of nature, not an athlete. He wouldn't get anywhere in boxing. Against a Klitschko he would be KO'd cold in less than a minute...maybe even in the octagon as well.

Lesnar was just a marketing tool and even though big and strong has pitiful stand up skills and worse stamina.

Using him may have been a good gimmick strategy in 08 to get fans interested but to try and build the UFC HW division around him wasn't very smart because he was obviously going to get exposed even though he did in his UFC debut, somewhat in the Carwin fight, and completely by Cain.

Watching two guys feel each other up in grappling mode is great shoving there balls into each others faces. MMA is Joe Rogans favorite sport next to gay ****. It's Joe Rogan improved!

it's true didn't he have like 3 fights before challenging for the title i mean come on

i like the way he says
In boxing, the very best fighters don't lose. Not ever. Floyd Mayweather is 41-0. Klitschko is 41-2. That makes for great legacies but predictable fights, because when Mayweather fights, he wins. Plunk down $45 for that pay-per-view, but only if you like to watch a story whose ending you already know
like thats the worst thing in the world

personally i like seeing a fighter on top of his game dominate his opponents it shows that he really is that much better than his opposition

that whole anyone can win logic in mma is abit weak (aside from guys like Sliva and GSP who just seem unbeatable) if you ask me

i don't understand why both can't co-exist without it always coming down to which is better though

i must admit it does get my goat abit when my mate who absolutely adores mma pokes fun at boxing but i just ignore it because i can't be bothered to argue most of the time

for me boxing will always be the ultimate combat sport because i believe it takes more to train a guy to slip a punch by a slight margin than it does to grapple and wrestle with a guy

                      >>>> mma
