How is it resentment or hatred of them? I am cutting down this opposition and trying to pick at the Klitschkos. I still need to do Byrd, Sanders, Donald, Arreola, Lewis(Obviously), and Purity for Vitali...Then on to Wlad. Observations are always fun, and so far I would say everything I have said is true. If Vitali fought a great pressure fighter ALA Frazier or Tyson with his arms down, his chin out, and his feet planted he would be in hot water all night long, I think that is fair to say. If he fought a great counter puncher like Lewis or Ali with his arms by his side he would get picked apart, simple as that.
The 4 reviews I have done may sound biased, and may be a little, but I would argue that everything I have said is true. This era cannot be compared to possibly any other in history, it is aweful. So far the Byrd fight has been the toughest one I have seen for Vitali, and it was a good very even fight from both sides, I will finish it tomorrow...Byrd was a Middleweight in the amateurs, kind of throws out the "Bigger fighters of today" being better than the smaller ones of the past eh? I am having fun, feel free to discuss with me, I learn something new every day.
Vitali Klitschko Vs Chris Byrd
A good, tactical, even boxing match by both competitors. Byrd stays on the defensive most of the fight, which apparently did not please the judges. By the end of the fight I had Klitschko 2 rounds ahead in the fight.
Chris Byrd took the fight with 10 days notice, and despite that the fight was very even. Vitali quits on his stool do to a left shoulder injury after his best round of the fight. It is interesting that people scream for a Lewis-Vitali rematch when Vitali did not rematch his toughest/most controversial opponent, Chris Byrd...A fight that was more-so controversial than the Lewis-Vitali one.
Vitali fought a very good fight here. Showed his cool, calm, and collective attitude in the ring by never throwing caution to the wind. When his shots stopped landing against Byrd, instead of putting more power behind the shots as Byrd was counting on, which most heavyweights would do(And would have been the end of them), Vitali shortened up his shots and began to even out the fight, showing the speed and accuracy I mention in the Briggs fight. Great fight from both fighters, could have went either way just as easily as the other. Neither fighter was capable of KOing the other. Vitali showed a good disciplined fight against a seasoned slick boxer.
