Floyd has been active for 7 years of that decade while Manny put in 10 years worth of work but still he has been ranked below Mayweather his entire career up until Floyd retired.

sir, try to look at this pic and ask yourself who has the size advantage. Catchweights sir, has been in boxing for quite sometime now and is designed to even up the playing field.

ok ur analysis is flawed because ur saying that the two fighters u mentioned fought in a better era. sure it might have been better, but it wasnt better by that much. furthermore, u claim they were the men in their era, sure they might have been at the top, but they were far from dominant, this applies to kobayashi especially. trust me, i love japanese boxing a lot, kobayashi is cool but i dont think ive ever heard anyone rank him higher at 130 than floyd or arguello. take it for what u will, but 130 has never been a deep division and the most dominant fighters ever in that divison's history are floyd, arguello and nelson.

I'm not saying Floyd wasn't one of the most dominant, he was, but skill and dominance is all he has going for him and imo quality of resume is more important.

Skill especially is iffy at best when it comes to rating someone.

I've got no problem with someone rating Floyd above Kobayashi.

Still confused as to how my analysis is "flawed" though, they fought in better eras and fought the better opposition which you just agreed too.

IMO the active ATG list if they retire right now mine would like this. Pac>Roy>Floyd>Hopkins.

Now we can get a better understanding when all these fighters retire to see where they will be at. But, if that day wa today I see it like that.

I have Arguelllo as the GOAT at 130. And, he has that rank by a solid amount. I got Floyd at #2. However, Elorde has a great case to be rank at #2 as well. To say he doesn't is ridiculous. I have Elorde at #3 even ahead of Nelson but not that much. Hell I also think Brian Mitchell could be in the top 5.

130 is a pretty deep division with a solid history. To act like if Floyd can not be lower than #2 is just insane and not really knowing that history. However, it all falls under preference and opinion.
