How is Margarito coming off a loss?

        He lost two fights ago.
Errrr nice comment and sig...... this is a disgraceful match and you're defending it whilst having that sig? He got KTFO'd and won a decision against a journeyman. Get out.

Hopefully Pacquiao fights a few more big fights before retiring entire from boxing. Especially a rematch with Cotto.

Once Manny starts fighting guys out of the Top Rank
roster then I'll start believing the hype but right now to
me, he is getting spoon fed easy fights and making them
look like real challenges only to have Roach say otherwise.
Tired of all this Floyd ducked this person and that person
when Pac has been doing it after Juan Manuel Marquez.
Hell, Manny hasn't even fought a black (American) fighter
in the sport of boxing. Or anyone who has good to equal
speed, defense and footwork. I like Manny as a fighter
and think he is one of the most exciting in the ring but
his career has been carefully guided to get to this point,
same as Floyd. The only differences is that Floyd fought
Mosley, Who was more significant at WW then anyone Pac
fought at that weight when Pac wanted Miguel Cotto.
The same Cotto who Roach said wasn't the same fighter
after the Margarito loss. Floyd NEVER fought at a catchweight
for championship title fight. No matter if the opponent was
bigger or not. I just don't understand how so many think
Pac fighting nothing but Top Rank fighters that are either
slow or at a catchweight is such big accomplishments.
Bad enough Manny has the advantage with speed but to
make slow fighters compete at a catchweight for a title?
How much more of an advantage does he need?

But in all actuality. Floyd fought Mosley who completely
dominated Margarito who TKO'd a prime undefeated Cotto.
Floyd fought the fight Pacquiao was supposed to fight instead
he challenged Cotto. Roach's words were "Mosley's too good"
and "Cotto is not the same fighter" and guess which one he
thought would be the safest? I can understand Pac fighting
at a catchweight to get a fill of 154, but to have a title put
on the line for his first fight there against someone that doesn't
even deserve the shot AND that's not even ranked amongst
the top dawgs at 154? He's not even ranked at 154? Come on!
There were other challenges there for him but the fact that
Margarito is Top Rank and he is lesser skilled, gets him the
big shot at the Manny Pacquiao sweepstakes.

as many as he needs! he is the people champ and fights for a whole nation...j/k

                      good post!

but to be honest i didnt think pac even had a chance against a highly rated welter even though he was damaged goods (cotto). the fight look competitive on paper. which pacroid has to be given credit for even though he dominated post the 4th round

unlike floyd whose fight with Marquez did not look competitive from the get go.
