Shavers hit like a mack truck, he could have knocked out any heavyweight in history!Comment

That was an impressive stoppage but not nearly as impressive as the Chambers KO where Chambers went from a state of being completely fine to being knocked unconscious all in the space of about one millisecond. That, to me, demonstates phenomenal one-hit knockout power.I also remember seein wlad 1 punch KO Calvin Brock back in 2006 if I'm correct.
Jus a lil something 2 add to the wlad argument
Never seen any shavers fights so I don't have a say on him 68 ko's is only impressive on the competition
If not the case u can make an argument on Butterbean I believe he has over 70KOsComment

Klitshcko fans.... The funny thing is that I am not even but still I am a black supremacist to SOME of them....Why the heck would anyone call you a black supremacist? I certainly wouldn't. What I will do is ask you what in-ring film footage shows Shavers as hitting definitively harder than, say, Tua, Wlad or even Tyson. I'm not interested in fighter quotes, since anyone can say anything at the end of the day, and it doesn't make it true. What I'm interested in is seeing Shavers destroy someone the way Tua did Ruiz and Moorer, or knocking someone cold with one punch the way Wlad did Chambers. If you can show me that fight, then I'm more than willing to alter my opinion.
Anyways, Umm... Jimmy young was pretty durable went 15 rounds with like Foreman and the distance with Norton. And, Foreman is a pretty hard hitting dude and Young beat him. And, Shavers got him out of there in 3 rounds.
Shavers also getting rid of Jimmy Ellis in one round. While it took fighters like Frazier longer to do. And, Fraziers had solid power as well. For Shavers to do that proves his power was no joke.
Is not like Ellis was a terrible fighter.
And, even the KO of Ken Norton that you showed. Yes you showed Gerry Cooney however that was a prime Cooney agaisnt a past prime Norton and I think that should be taken into account.
IMO Shavers power was legit more so than Wlad.Comment

He did, a lot of people don't like to give fighters from yesteryear credit. Or some think that they get too much credit so they get too much credit so they try to big up fighters from today.
Look at 2:20 and see how many times he rocked Ali who had a great chin.Comment

I'm a Klitschko fan, but I can't speak for others. I'm a Lennox Lewis and David Tua fan as well so go figure.
I've never had the opportunity to see the Young fight, more's the pity, though I do understand that Young was very green at that point and had only had ten pro fights prior to that. I think that needs to be taken into account.
Hell man I never said it was joke. Just not all it's cracked up to be is all.Comment

Here's a Tua highlight:
Look at 0:11 - 2:46 and see how many times he knocks people the **** out.Comment

But, I think IMO anyways Shavers KO'd the higher caliber opponents.
Had the rocked the higher caliber opponents more often.
Like you told Joey Zags who mentioned about the 68ko's. It depends who he is doing it against or something to that effect was your answer.
Shouldn't that be held to account when comparing Tua and Shavers power?Comment
