The outcome wasnt similar because Ouma showed up to fight. Ouma wasnt a "shot" fighter, hes just not hungry anymore. Against Vanes he put on his game face and made a fight of it. After the fight he told Vanes himself he was in the best shape of his life, and that Vanes was championship material.
I love how people hate this kid for no real reason. Vanes is gonna be a major player once the big boys stop ducking him, and for the record he would embarrass Shane at this point.

this is a sparring video, his opponent could be trash, secondly, in headgear and 16 oz gloves anyone can stand there and roll punches. you cant take those in a fight without receiving some damage.

Mosley does look really past it now but Vanes looked like trash against Ouma and almost lost that fight. He seems like he underestimates his opponents and overates himself a tad. He is not as slick as Mora is and if he gets caught flush by Shane, Vanes takes a nap.
