I think its time Vanes speaks to Bob Arum about his match ups and not boxingscene cause this is getting pretty old.

I would not bet against Martirosyn, the guy's young, hungry, has fought decent-to-good competition and he's on the upside of his career. Plus he's got HOF trainer Freddy Roach in his corner. Shane clearly has been on the serious decline in his past two fights and looks worn out. I'd even go so far to say Vanes possibly KO's Mosley...
Regardless of any scenario, whether you pick Shane or Vanes, this has the potential to be a great fight at jr mw....Comment

The outcome wasnt similar because Ouma showed up to fight. Ouma wasnt a "shot" fighter, hes just not hungry anymore. Against Vanes he put on his game face and made a fight of it. After the fight he told Vanes himself he was in the best shape of his life, and that Vanes was championship material.I was keeping a close eye on Martyrosian because I thought he might turn out to be the real deal. Then the Ouma fight came along, and I pretty much changed my mind. To me that was a big test, and Vanes failed it. Vanes should have handled Ouma the way Jermain Taylor handled Raul Marquez, or Kelly Pavlik handled Bronco McKart. Very similar situations, but the outcome was not similar. Ouma won by one point my card.
I love how people hate this kid for no real reason. Vanes is gonna be a major player once the big boys stop ducking him, and for the record he would embarrass Shane at this point.Comment

this guy really is desperate for a big fight, hope he gets it,but wouldn't it be funny if he fights shane and shane beats him...shane isn't the same anymore, that was evident since his lost to mayweather and now with his draw against mora that confirms it,he's done....but hopefully someone does give him a shot, atleast he wants to fight a big nameComment
