Nobody, not even MGM would of outbid Jerry Jones to hold that fight. He would of paid whatever. So there was more money in Texas.

Top rank wanted the fight in Texas because of the relationship with Jerry Jones.

However, it was GBP who wanted the fight in Vegas because they're in bed with the MGM and have some kid of deal. So GBP stood firm about Vegas. And, GBP got is wish.

And, in Nevada has a standard size ring. 20x20. Nobody was going to change that.

So the size of the ring and the venue Pac/top rank didn't get their wish or demand or what have you. However, the 10mil/lb and the glove size they got.

Is a big myth that Pac got every single demand and that Floyd only had one demand Which is really not true.

But, like I said you can't say no to OST. Pac should of agreed to that without complaints especially after Floyd gave him a window of 14 days.
it boiled down to pride, especially now that he's on top and got more money to last him 5 lifetimes. if that ost demand didn't sprung from that libelous ped accusation crap from the mayweather family, it probably wouldve went down smoother.

we saw it in the 2nd round, everyone was calm this time, and pac agreed.

do you? it doesnt take half a brain to know that if there wasn't any ost, the fight wouldve happen. but if floyd rejected the 10mil penalty, who knows? they might have renegotiated to make or break the fight. and that's where you reading comprehension ****** big time.

but who else was in the division? no one. paulie isnt good, in my eyes...never was. hes a decent fighter and thats it.

he held his standing b.c there wasnt anyone else there. but it doesnt change the fact that hes not that good and it wasnt an impressive win for a fighter like hatton.

so their rankings were by default, so to speak

OST wasn't Manny's demands which was the root cause of the failed nego.

Again everybody is saying without the OST the fight would have been made!

where did the OST came from: Floyd "Ike Turner" Maynever!

so right before the first episode of 24/7 airs....GBP shoots a missile at its arch rival's next big event ....instead of dudes in here going back and forth like its checker game they're playin.....yall should be politicin' on Oscar's chess move.....For every credibility gap there is a gullibility fill....GBP used its "Ring" piece wisely IMO.....Arum's move

For a fighter like Hatton? Hatton was not all that either. Never.

But, he was the best in the division. Was the division weak? Sure. But, still the #1 dude.

The only other fight was there for Pac. Was JMM at 135. Besides that Hatton was the logical choice. So I don't really understand your beef at all with that fight.

Is like you're looking at it in hindsight instead of what was looked upon that time.

if it was the root cause. then why did pac and roach welcome it with open arms, at first. then continued to switch their position on the issue, eventually getting what they asked for BUT, they still walk away?

theres more to the story than this "ego" bs you want to claim. hence why many people have su****ions about pac and his team having something to hide.

How is Juan Manuel Marquez worthy? Sure, they had two very entertaining, very close bouts, but Manny has become much more. He has improved in almost every aspect of boxing and Juan Manuel Marquez was slaughtered by Floyd, an opponent many think will get whipped by Manny, whether that's the case or not.

Rest of the article - very good.
