hatton shutting out and TKO'ing a top 5 jww at that time malignanggi isnt impressive? lol. so tell me who should pac have fought in that division at that time? remember, pac has a hard time coming down to 135 anymore and decided to stay 140up.I think we are getting off tangent here. the original point was that pac doesnt fight guys coming off impressive wins. No matter how you try to play it the junior welterweight champion beating paulie is not impressive. Keep in mind this is the champ im talkin about. If anyone rated 5-10 in that division beat paulie then that might be impressive. If hatton sparked him out in a round that might have been impressive. But him getting a bs stoppage in the 11th round was not impressive. I didnt leave that fight thinkin "ohh hatton will give pac a good fight. "
The Cotto fight im using as an example. I dont have a problem with that fight but i want to show that it follows the same pattern. After you saw cotto struggle with clottey did you think he would give pac a good fight. I didnt. Manny and roach saw what i saw; a fading figher with a good name so they took it.Comment

The JMM at 135 would of had been the best move. And, then maybe Hatton at 140 let Hatton had one more fight would have been the better move no doubt.
2010 has ****** I agree, It is as bad if not worse than his 2007 year.Comment

[QUOTE=el salsalero;9446811]NO, obviously he didnt. b.c after getting his 14 days in the first negotiation, he walked and went to fight clottey.
and then, pac started claiming he agreed to everything mayweather asked for, only after he was signed to fight marg.
so no, he didnt want to fight floydComment

come on man. didnt manny have demands too? If floyd said no to the 10 mil penalty would it have been manny who was ducking? They both had demands. floyd agreed and manny didnt. that is why the fight didnt happen. point blank. You cant just say if there was no ost request that the fight would happen.Comment

I think you're missing the point, Mayweather agreed to:
1. Ring size
2. Glove size
3. Location of the fight
4. 10 million dollars for every pound he would be over.
Those were all PAC's demands
Now if PBF agreed to all that stuff, Why couldn't PAC agree to the test for 14 days cutoff, instead he agrees to it six months later.Comment

[QUOTE=comanick;9446904]there was no second negotiation. even Arum said that no one had heard back from team mayweather so who were they negotiating with?
but what we do know is that pac didnt start claiming he agreed to everything mayweather asked for, until he was signed to fight marg.
so no, he didnt want to fight floydComment

yes we could. that's the only thing that held the fight up. floyd can turn down manny's weight penalty demands or re-negotiate it, BUT HE DIDNT, so lets not discuss what could have been scenarios, something *****s usually like to do w/ floyd's career and resume.come on man. didnt manny have demands too? If floyd said no to the 10 mil penalty would it have been manny who was ducking? They both had demands. floyd agreed and manny didnt. that is why the fight didnt happen. point blank. You cant just say if there was no ost request that the fight would happen.Comment
