Dancing does not equal speed. The early Tyson was fast because he was trained to move in and out of punching range quickly and to stay inside only when an opponent was neutralized. Speed does not necessarily mean floating around a ring a la Ali.

Well in an exhibition fight with james quick tillis tyson backs up a bit and dances a bit but he dosent go all out like ali or holmes he looks very different doing it he dosent look as graceful why is that do you think ? .
